Shorter Gingrich: ‘Benghazi Fertilizer On Collision Course With The Air Circulator’

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

By next Tuesday, anybody still deciding to vote for #OccupyResoluteDesk shall have achieved ‘dishonorable chump’ status.

For a special twist, I hope there is an unveiling of the emails from a big manila envelope marked ‘Sealed Court Records’. This adds no value whatsoever to the information; it’s just that #OccupyResoluteDesk deserves to have all his perfidy rubbed in his smug face both now, and for decades to come.

    When he won the election in 2008, I prayed that no harm should ever come to him, that he live to be 150 in excellent health — so that he might spend every day of the next hundred years knowing what a failure he was.

    I am amazed at the number of people that I speak with that have absolutely no idea of the underlying story of Benghazi. If true, the networks “holding” information is a disservice to the dead and their families. Not to mention the rest of America.

    The stories do not match. The State Department actually sent some security people from Italy to help defend State Department personnel. That had to get the okay of the White House, but the military did not go? It is bizarre to say the least.

    The White House needs to come clean: What did the president know and when did he know it?

    I hope you’re right. The problem is I don’t think Obama will ever realize it. He’s that much of a narcissist. He’s living in his own little world. He’ll surround himself with people that will only say nice things to him, like most of the MSM.

    I see the story, the media sitting on the memos,as pausible. However pausible does not equate to true.
    It seem evident that somebody issued a military go order and got a standdown response. One can not standdown unless he already standing up. If the order was issued, there is a record of it somewhere.
    The media seems more concerned about Bain,Big Biird, binders and bayonets than Benghazi. If the memo existed, and was leaked, it would be leaked until it got published. Don’t bet the farm on the story being true.
