Five days ago, I called attention to the video in which alleged victim of homophobia Kaitlyn Hunt screams at her younger sister: “Beat her f**king ass, Emily! Beat her ass! Get that bitch!”

Someone who was present for this incident captured the image above, which shows Kaitlyn — with the telltale bird tattoo on her right shoulder — turning this fight into a 2-on-1 beatdown of the other girl.

Are we really surprised that some local gay-rights groups aren’t supporting the “Free Kate” campaign on Hunt’s behalf?

Who wants to join the herd of credulous people who were deceived by Kaitlyn’s mother’s May 17 Facebook post, which described her as “wonderful . . . exemplary . . . respected and well liked . . . never been in trouble, ever, she truly is the model student and child”? Who really believes that Kaitlyn Ashley Hunt (Booking #2013-00000708) is, as her lawyer has claimed, a “model citizen“?

Is this how “model citizens” behave? Have law enforcement authorities in Indian River County seen this video?

Shouldn’t they be investigating this incident as an assault?

After the initial fact-deficient hysteria, which portrayed Kaitlyn Hunt as a martyr for the cause of equality, Matt Ross says it “seems that calmer voices are starting to prevail.”

Let’s hope so. Another blogger coins the word “Trayvoned” to describe this myth-making process: The media provide a carefully constructed narrative of victimhood and, by the time countervailing facts emerge, the crusading mob is already emotionally invested.

S.J. Reidhead compiles some of the more vicious examples of irrational hate generated by the “Free Kate” mob, including a Canadian transsexual named Amber Dawn Redman who wants to see conservative Christians “tied . . . to a stake, tortured and burned.”

Again, are we really surprised by this? What do we expect of people who celebrate a violent tattooed she-hooligan like Kaitlyn Hunt?

She consented anyway! By law a 60 year old can be together with a 18 year old but complains when there is a 3+ year difference. Hey gotta love the law. I say screw the law that messes up 2 kids lives like that.

This wasn’t a “fight”. It was clearly an assault. Even in High School most kids should know the difference, and it used to be normal for bigger kids to step in and stop the perps.

Now bigger kids keep their heads down thanks to lawsuit abuse. But they should all be disciplined for egging on the assault.

And, this isn’t about a 60yo ADULT getting it on with an 18yo ADULT. It is solely about an ADULT sexually molesting a CHILD. Period. Dot. End of sentence.

No I don’t think they are, however having such a ridiculous post without factual content makes you rather blind. Kaitlyn Hunt currently has a tattoo on BOTH shoulders (excluding any others that may be lower). This video, if proven to be her – is not any time recently.

No Evi… may I call you Evil? They are correct. Civil law is an entirely different realm, as this post implies penalty for “assault”. I am not on either side of this argument, because frankly my law firm was not retained – nor will my opinion sway a jury. FYI, the vast majority of 14 year olds aren’t having sex. I just read a stat that only 13% of teens have had sex by age 15 (and some portion of that 13% was involuntary sex).

I don’t agree with almost anything on this site, but I do agree with how they stood up against the mob for the parents of the 14 year old when very few people were doing so. I think that Kaitlyn needs guidance and counseling, not prison (she should have taken the plea deal). But her behavior was wrong and is likely to leave life-long scars on the 14/15 year old (per almost any credible psychological study of underage sex). That can’t be dismissed, and the attacks on statutory rape laws/ages of consent are a nonstarter. Those laws aren’t going anywhere, for good reason.

What about an 18yo and a 13yo? What about a 19yo and a 13yo? These equations fall far more into your “same age group” (i.e., teenagers) “justification” than invoking a 12yo does.

Furthermore, did you really just say that 18yos are still kids, however 14/15yos are perfectly capable of making their own decisions?

If I can get my eyeballs to stop rolling around in my head, I’ll attempt to understand your “argument” with a question or two, and a bit of clarification from you.

Are you suggesting that an 18yo, such as Saint Kate, is incapable of making good choices and decisions courtesy of her “child” status?

Secondly, are you willing to stand behind your assertion that a 14/15yo CAN make good choices and decisions, unlike an 18yo “kid?”

Help me out here. The end of your screed has me duly confused.

But how much of that ‘scarring’ comes from shame generated by family/peers? I had sex well before I was 17 (I was barely 14); it wasn’t good sex and it was at school since we had no other time to see each other. But I had friends who were supportive of me and my family never knew. So there was no scarring.
Also, I love how people are agreeing with “stay classy” and yet find it necessary to misgender a transwoman just because they disagree with her. If you’re all about being ‘better’ than everyone else, don’t be an ass about something unrelated.

I personally find myself conflicted. If it had been a situation where a middle schooler was dating a high school senior, I would be very opposed. However, they were in high school together, taking classes together. But, I also know how easy it can be for older students to prey on younger ones. I worry about the amount of misinformation going around and the number of people who are willing to hop on and start throwing shit either because they’re for or against the girls being a couple.
As for the argument for “she knew it was illegal”, I don’t think that’s a good argument to use. You’ve never broken the law, knowing it was illegal? Never sped? While I’m not saying that speeding is equal to sexual offenses, your logic could use work.

RSM just grabbing at straws I see… Kaitlyn Hunt, as I’ve noticed in some below threads, was proven to not have her current tattoo on her left shoulder in this video/picture. The time frame in which she had the second shoulder tattoo would make it much too cold in the State of Florida to be at the beach. This ridiculous attempt to slander Kaitlyn more likely took place last summer, when weather would be appropriate, prior to her left shoulder tattoo – and making her a MINOR at the time.

First of all, there are no full months in Florida where it’s too cold for the beach. I live here and go to the beach plenty in winter months. Secondly the article sites the bird tattoo on her right shoulder which can be clearly seen in both the picture from the article, and the picture you posted.

WRONG! She didn’t have the SECOND tattoo on the left shoulder, picture within this thread, and the time frame in which it was done puts it in months no teens go to the beach! I live here too and wouldn’t touch the beach in early year months. You can’t explain the missing tattoo? And this is what your write? It wasn’t recent, it wasn’t after her arrest, and she was definitely a MINOR if this video is even proven to be her. The right shoulder bird tattoo is not in question… the missing one is the PROOF… minor girl… doing minor things.

Everyone continues to proclaim the Hunt’s lie, however each time I seem to take a gander, they are clarifying and RE-clarifying because the story gets twisted. The mother’s original post was written in an emotional state, and it has again, and again, and again, and again… been reiterated regarding the girls age, when they met and the interactions between the two. If this is ll you have to do with your day, know this… No matter how you proceed with the broken record you play, all those who pay attention see the truth – and it comes straight from the Hunts.
