Late To The Antarctic Rescue News, But I Brought Beatallica

Sure the East Coast is under a chill, but how about those Global Worming researchers at the nether pole? After we rejoice in their safety, and admire their tenacity, let’s enjoy just a little riff at their expense:

May 2014 be the year that the “experts” learn they can’t just phone it in on their credentials, but really need to publish some models, raw data, and let there be actual public debate, in lieu of the Orwellian cramdowns of the last decades.

Seriously. Let’s push candidates who’re not turning public policy into kickback schemes. This mostly means shoving incumbents out the door, so that research can be research, and not pretexts for more inane policy.

These poor snow flakes never had a wholesome relationship in their lives. No wonder they’re damaged goods and take it out on men.

    Dude, wrong thread!

Or maybe not… no doubt these befuddled warmists have issues of some sort.

    Oh, and… amen.

I’d rather get it right than have to pass beans and bullets. But… not my call, eh?

They did publish the models, sort of anyway.

They didn’t publish the raw data. And they can’t tell you where the data they used came from.

But it was never about global warming. or global cooling, or whatever the cause is this week. It was always about Money and Authority.

In my book, they did more to discredit the environmental movement than anyone else. All for politics.

If the real environmentalists ever figure that out, well, the climate change alarmists will face unpleasant consequences.

These warming experts should be sent on a walking tour of the “declining” polar bear population in the Arctic.
    A close walking tour….

On an OT but related note the whole DeBlasio push to eliminate the horse drawn carriages from Manhattan seems to be a public policy kickback scheme. Apparently one of his major campaign donors wants the property where the horse stables are locate.

This is my shocked face 😮

    They’re already extinct in Antarctica.

They also diddled the models and won’t say how either.

It should also be noted that among the several vessels diverted to assist in potential rescue operations were at least two carrying equipment and supplies for two separate, long-planned serious scientific expeditions with drop-dead deadlines as to departure due to the icing conditions (they need to be sure the ships that carry the researchers can get out again).

These real science projects will either be postponed a year or cancelled. All the participants and support personnel are suddenly out of work for at least a year – IF the funding can be found again, much prep money was now wasted since they cannot go forward. All to rescue these “climate tourists” who went where icebreakers go with great care, but in a ship not fitted for icebreaking.

The “tourists” were all climate tourists, not vacationers, they expected to see and document melting ice and sweaty penguins.

This is outrageous. Better to have left them for the next thaw.

Smitty, where did you find the music group? I had never heard them before this post but do have the song downloaded for my music show
