Illinois Taxpayers Lose Super Bowl

Posted on | February 3, 2014 | 5 Comments

If you thought the Broncos sucked — and, wow, they were atrocious Sunday — check out this stupid TV ad:

Illinois taxpayers spent $127,000 to air that idiotic ad on the Chicago Fox affiliate during the Super Bowl:

Things are not well in the Land of Lincoln.
Illinois taxpayers are burdened by $7 billion in unpaid bills and over $100 billion in pension debt.

But, hey, they now have the amusement of watching their former senator screwing up America in pretty much the same way.

And the Bears are even worse than the Broncos.

On the bright side, it was still only Denver’s second most humiliating Super Bowl defeat.

In the locker room afterwards the Broncos were heard sighing with relief that San Francisco had lost the NFC championship game.

The ad is typical of Illinois brain power.
