The Silence Is Settled!

Posted on | July 7, 2014 | 42 Comments

No more criticizing the Climate Change Consensus™! The BBC has muzzled anyone who does not agree with Official Global Warming Science™ and Salon’s Lindsay Abrams is orgasmic with pleasure:

Good news for viewers of BBC News: You’ll no longer be subjected to the unhinged ravings of climate deniers and other members of the anti-science fringe. In a report published Thursday by the BBC Trust, the network’s journalists were criticized for devoting too much airtime (as in, any airtime) to unqualified people with “marginal views” about non-contentious issues in a misguided attempt to provide editorial balance.

We haven’t seen this kind of mindless liberal enthusiasm since the days when Monica Lewinsky was wearing her Presidential Knee Pads.

Censorship has always been the Left’s best friend.

They hate all those danged questions.

The Catholic Church tried this with Galileo back in the day. It did not work then either.

What precisely are Lindsay Lohan’s, I mean Abrams, scientific qualifications? Oh, that’s right. She works at Salon.

Funny you ask what her qualifications are….she received a B.A. in anthropology from Wesleyan in 2012. Clearly, she is a highly trained scientist.

Who’s going to protect us from Lindsay Abrams’ unhinged ravings?

For some reason, I keep seeing a scene from the first “The Mummy” movie in my head. The one with the crowd of mind-controlled people chanting IM-HO-TEP…IM-HO-TEP before they tear you apart. Now sustitute O-BA-MA…O-BA-MA and see what that does for your view of reality.

Plainly the BBC should put its vast powers to work on behalf of the British economy and call for a ban on the manufacture and wearing of those wasteful and unnecessary parkas and overcoats the English people won’t need next balmy winter…

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens to Germany during this “denier” news blackout.

First, remember that Germany went all in on the wind turbines, and then found out that they didn’t really deliver the needed Gigawatts to run the country.

So amidst the background of increasing electricity bills really hitting the middle and lower class folks hard, Germany ups and decides to draft legislation that declares fracking to be technologia non grata. (Link goes to Bloomberg news)

So they embarked on this madness at the behest of the Greens movement, and now they are doubling down on banning things that contribute to greenhouse gases. And it’s strangling the greatest economy in Europe.

Germany went “all in” on wind power because Siemens manufacturers a lot of wind turbine components. Siemens will continue to put pressure on the German government to promote wind power provided it is other countries paying for it.

The anti fracking environmental positions in Europe are being funded by the Russians and probably the Saudis–clearly because the Russians and Saudis are very worried about the “environment” in Europe.

Which variety of anthropology? A physical anthropologist is definitely a scientist, or at least trending in that direction. An ethnologist is, at best, an embryonic scientist.

As O’Keefe recently demonstrated, many lefties know the green agenda is bullshit but have no problem pushing it anyway.
I imagine there are boatloads of lefties in Europe that have no problem taking Putin’s money.

Oh, they probably bought several Chinese turbines, too. I love how they mounted many of them in offshore windfarms, otherwise known as future coral reefs.

Oxidation wins. Hell, oxidation is an electrical phenomenon. They may as well harness the decomposition to generate a few milliwatts while it all goes to hell.

Anthropology is one notch above underwater basket weaving and women studies. Most of them spend their time studying fossilized bones, and calling each other diamond studded liars when they don’t agree.

This is a sure sign that the scam is falling apart. Why don’t they trust their scary powerful arguments against those sub-moronic anti-science airheads? You’d think they’d relish the opportunity to mop up the floor with them any chance they’d get. Especially on such a high-minded, unbiased august network like the BBC.

You’re wrong about anthropology being one notch above underwater basket weaving and women’s studies.

With a degree in the former one can at least create something useful. A degree in the latter …not so much.

IMO the basket weaver is a notch above and anthropologist and a womyn’s studies uh… (what do even call a womyn’s studies major professionally? Professor?)
