California: The Crazy State

Junkies and crackheads get high on the streets of San Francisco, urinating and defecating in public, and the liberal Democrats who control the city seem to believe this situation is perfectly acceptable. Meanwhile, Southern California “finds itself in the midst of a homelessness emergency”:

You cannot walk more than few blocks through [downtown San Diego] without encountering people living in tents or cars, even sleeping curled up in the middle of the sidewalk.

The insanity produced by decades of liberal policies has caused an exodus of the state’s middle-class population. So many people are moving out of (and so few Americans are moving into) the Bay Area that it now costs $2,000 to get a U-Haul trailer in San Francisco. Americans don’t want to live in California, but foreign criminals do:

California has its first illegal alien in state office, after Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) appointed Lizbeth Mateo to the California Student Opportunity and Access Program Project Grant Advisory Committee.
Mateo, an attorney, was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. illegally at the age of 14 with her parents, who are also illegal aliens, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Of course, California is home to Hollywood, a corrupt sewer of decadent immorality crawling with predatory perverts, and the state voted for Hillary Clinton (personal friend of Harvey Weinstein) by a nearly 2-to-1 margin in 2016. California’s legislature (which has its own sex scandal) granted “sanctuary” status to illegal aliens, in effect declaring U.S. immigration law null and void within its borders. When this provoked criticism from President Trump, California U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris responded on Twitter: “California represents the future, and it’s no surprise we’re leading the fight against Trump’s radical agenda.”

It’s a “radical agenda” to enforce the law, according to California Democrats, and “California represents the future,” by which we may suppose Sen. Harris means that homeless crackheads will soon be defecating on streets everywhere, from coast to coast.

A suggestion for Republicans: Given that California is a Democrat stronghold, and that the few vulnerable GOP-held House seats in the state are home to middle-class people who don’t want crackheads on their streets, make the midterm campaign a referendum on California.

Do Americans want California’s Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues to take over Congress? Do they want California’s Maxine Waters to take over the House Financial Services Committee? Do they want to impose California’s liberal insanity on the entire nation?

My guess is that if Republicans make this the central question of the fall congressional campaign, the hyped-up prospect of a Democrat “blue wave” in November will turn out to be barely a ripple.
