Al-Qaida Is On The Path To Defeat And Charlie Don’t Surf! UPDATE: Women United Lowers The Boom

The first seven words of the title are from #OccupyResoluteDesk. The last three are from the demented Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore. I’m going to argue that, at a high level of abstraction, the two ideas are equally absurd.

The Washington Times has an article that is useful for tracking the latest rumors. The more that is revealed, the more the whole affair seems to have been an absurd exercise in willful disregard of reality in a combat zone:

We don’t, and are not likely EVER to know the full scoop of the reasons for the situation in Benghazi. Having served a year in Afghanistan, I can tell you that High Value types like an ambassador do not normally get put at any personal risk in war zones, for the reasons you see in Stevens’s wake. However, I’m glad that the details seem to have moved beyond “hostage bait”. That would have been Machiavellian beyond words, and hard to keep a secret, and therefore was always a trifle implausible.

Back to “Apocalypse Now”, Kilgore’s madness is echoed in the idiotic response of blaming “The Innocence of Muslims” and throwing Nakoula in jail. In retrospect, that blame move was as insane as declaring the beach safe while bullets flew. In addition to being wildly un-Constitutional and un-American. Where is the Anemic Commie Laughing Unit (ACLU) on this one? I may have answered my own question.

Kilgore’s foolhardy personal courage, standing there amidst explosions, is a stark contrast to Obama’s technological detachment from those “bumps in the road”. (I don’t personally know how anyone not an actor on a movie set could behave like Kilgore’s character in a no-kidding firefight.) And yet, even a non-combat facing of the music on Benghazi is too much for a feckless worm like Obama. Her Fecklessness now assumes the ‘offended’ pose at the suggestion that she wasn’t workin’ hard, tryin’ to find away to help those poor ex-SEALs fight for their lives.

PROVE IT!

Charlie don’t surf, Barack, but your worthless carcass is going to have plenty of time to do so, come January.

I am not a reporter and have no intrest in being one. But I have a question.

Why has there not been any interviews from the people that were actually at Benghazi during the attack? There were surviors. If there have been some interviews, please let me know where they can be found.

Jennifer Griffin has stated that she has contacted sources that were on the ground about the Former Navy SEALs being denied permission to go to the consulate. But I have not seen or heard of any testimony or reports from people that were actually there.

Where are they? Why aren’t reporters, or congress, appearently interviewing people that would have actual information and not opinion and rumours? Why can’t we get actual answers to questions?

All of those people would be government employees who are likely under a gag order. The details of the attack immediately become classified, with draconian legal penalties for leaking.

Unless it’s a Republican and you’re leaking to the NYT, of course. Then it’s “speaking truth to power”.

He’ll never prove anything. Not his bloodline, his roots, his grades, his history, nor this.
He will expect EVERYONE ELSE to go under the bus first, and ALL the Journolists and ALL the TImes men ( and women ) will see to that.
As for the rest of the cowards that watched and the MSM, FM all. FM

    Thank you for the reply.
But but this stonewalling silence, and reporters apparrent lack of interest in getting the facts, makes me angry.
Men gave their lives so that others might live. I know it would be hard, but I think this is a time for courage and if needed, defiance. Someone needs to take a stand and speak up. It won’t be a safe thing or the politically practical thing to do. But it would be the right thing.

Maybe I’m just impatient or too angry right now.

The silence out of Benghazi is frightening. What are they hiding?

Surfing is a bourgeoisie indulgence and explicitly forbidden by the Party. Report yourself for right-deviationist crimethink, Comrade!

Everything. But information wants to be free, and tends to be very destructive when it has to fight its way out.

It seems to me that impatience and anger are both justified in this situation.

It’s a sort of paradox, present at least as far back as Vietnam:

Modern technology allows for much faster military response to situations on the ground.

That same technology also allows for the chain of command to impose its own reluctance on that response.

The particular reluctance that gets focused on is that of the “National Command Authority” (Washington in general and the president in particular), but the problem runs up and down the whole chain of command.

Commanders at all levels who at one time would have just had to make a decision and let the chips fall where they may can now get on the horn and instantly pass the buck upward. So they do. And when the word comes back down, it’s often phrased to try and pass responsibility right back down with it.

Does anyone actually believe the horse-manure that these mostly uneducated, poor beyond belief musloids in the middle east actually use social media, watch youtube or even have unfettered and uncensored to the Internet? The first thing the “winners” of the “Arab Spring” did was to shut down social media and unfettered access to it as well as the Internet. Clamp down on the tools that allowed them to be successful in the first place! Do you really imagine the majority of people in the middle east can even afford iPada, iPhones or laptops when they can barely afford consistent electricity, water or food? Get serious people, we are being played from the top down, manipulated and deluded because in America these things are commonplace and a part of our daily lives because we have been benefited with the highest standard of living for a very long time. This disconect is being used against us, to manipulate us and advance the delusions of the liberal agenda to destroy our nation and way of life.
Wake up and smell the lies!

I updated my article about our complicit and politicized military leadership here: http://wp.me/p27DAO-Xf included the #benghazi flap and personal anecdote about a General involved and my knowledge of him.
