Livestreaming from Southie

Posted on | January 18, 2010 | 29 Comments

Here with the 73Wire crew live from South Boston until . . . well, midnight, at least. . . .

UPDATE 12:42 a.m.: I’m told that, with more than 1,300 unique visitors, this was the largest audience for a 73Wire livestream EVAH!

Thanks to all our readers and Twitter friends for making this such a huge success. It’s now Election Day in Massachusetts. Time for two famous words:

LET’S ROLL!

We’ll see you online throughout the day and will be live from Scott Brown HQ in downtown Boston tonight.

You are a bad, bad man Mr. McCain, sitting across the table from a black gentleman and destroying the illusions of a certain sanctimonious pony-tailed blogger. Love the hat by the way.

I have been supporting Scott since he was 30 pts down. I knew how important he was and this election. Go Scott Go. We are all proud of you from Conservative California.

Gatorade? Tut. I was expecting a bottle of rye, Stacy. At least a chilled brew (given your location, perhaps a Boston Lager, or a northern New England microbrew — Magic Hat?). Very disappointed.

“What am I doing?” I’M LISTENING TO YOU! Talk about how bad Martha Coakley is–this is not a paid advert. You can slam her if you want. Give them some shit. Fells Acres. John J. Geoghan.

I thought that was a Harvard sweatshirt Stacy had on. Somebody stop by the Coop before he leaves so he can pick one up.

I enjoyed it because it looked like an FBI tape of a mob ‘sitdown’ [Southie was a great choice for location]. DaTechguy was the old-school boss [the hand gestures and hat]. You looked like DTG’s Underboss. The two guys farest away were your capos. And Ali was the kid you had hired to hack credit cards numbers.

Only thing missing: cannolis and VO.

Can’t wait to see what the Grand Jury does.
