FMJRA 2.0: Can’t Blame The Offense

In previous seasons, we’ve had good starting pitching, an okay bullpen, and terrible offense. This season, we have a good offense for once, a fine bullpen…and a miserable starting rotation.* Still, we managed a split in our two-game series against the Orioles before coming home to RFK and dropping two of three to the Cubs. At least we won one at home for once. This leaves us tied with the Red Sox at 10-18, 4 1/2 games behind the Twins.
Ceterum autem censeo Silicon Valley et Hamas delendam sunt.

Fritz is still evading the Canuckistani fishing wardens, but thanks to everyone else for all the links!
*Exactly three of our wins have gone to our starters: one to Jim Kaat, and two to Joe Coleman, who somehow eked out a couple of wins despite an ERA over 6.
