An Incendiary Speech, Purportedly By A UCLA Prof

Sure, it’s tough rhetoric. However, there is little context. The speaker is purportedly a UCLA professor. No name or date associated.

My suggestion is to watch, think, and under-react. History and Economics will likely bulldoze the South American Socialist countries the professor touts. It’s fair to guess that, when Chavez is done destroying Venezuela, this goofball professor will blame a capitalist plot.

To quote the Captain, Road Prison 36: “Some men you just can’t reach.”

Update: Gateway Pundit is a bit more exercised. Oddly, as a military type, my threshold for concern seems a lot higher. Surround him with people who ask factual questions, point, and laugh, say I.

Update II: American Power adds more details: This is Ron Gochez, and the speech is from 2007. And the gentleman appears not to have improved much with age.

    @Chuck,
    Not if you control the definition of ‘imperialistic’.

    Saw this earlier today over at Moonbattery where it sparked a lively comment stream. If we could get this kind of thing in front of non Mexican Hispanics that might prove useful. I doubt that La Raza and the Reconquistadors have much to offer Central American Immigrants. The silly leftist notion that all minorities or even all Hispanics have the same interests should provide some usefull wedges.

    @Chuck: You can only be an “Imperialist” if your country has a (theoretical) ruling class of Northern European men, or if all of the policy makers are long since dead.

    This is s very serious situation that involves using the word “treason” to describe what this is. If treason is not part of the conversation, then we’ll be ignoring the big elephant in the room once again.

    I’m unafraid at calling treason ‘treason’, but I want more than a mere clip to get frisky.
    For example, if this clip had been an outtake from a stage play, we’d be feeling kind of dumb.
    American Power is following this closely.

    How funny is it that a moron like this can call for rebellion and nobody bats an eye but liberals can accuse Beck of sedition for speaking his mind?
