Another Classic Charlie Crist Flip-Flop: From Homophobic Closet Case to
Pro-Gays-in-the-Military Closet Case

Gay-rights activists might consider this “progress.” Republican can congratulate themselves on being rid of the beau ideal of transparent bogusness:

Charlie Crist, who previously opposed repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell when he was a Republican . . . will now support the repeal compromise . . . .
Until recently, Crist had been saying that the current policy works. But with the repeal compromise moving forward in Congress, both Republican Marco Rubio and Dem Kendrick Meek . . . have been pressuring Crist to take a stand on the compromise.
Now Crist is coming out for it.

Charlie Crist, the political hermaphrodite, preferred candidate of the addled and confused. But hey, it’s Florida . . .

So, now that “Crist is coming out for it,” cue the disco!

Why is it that so many conservatives are OK with Donna Milo but have nothing but contempt for Charlie Crist? It’s the opportunism, stupid!

Let me say to any pro-gay-rights voter in Florida who might be reading this: If that’s a fundamental issue for you, OK. It’s a free country — and might stay a free country if you vote for Marco Rubio.

But if you feel like you can’t vote for an honest conservative Republican like Marco, go ahead and vote for the liberal Democrat. Please don’t vote for that two-faced back-stabbing crapweasel, Charlie Crist.

It’s slightly off the subject, but not by much. I want to know how this “discrimination” thing works.

Way back in 1970 AD, I volunteered to join the United States Army. They declined to accept my service, because they felt that my hearing wasn’t up to their standards.

I’ve concluded that I’ve been discriminated against, and should have the right to sue them. How can they choose to refuse to allow me to serve because of a (genetic) auditory problem, and not be allowed to decline people who have a (putatively genetic) sexual preference problem?

Hey. If I’d enlisted in 1970, I would have retired as an E-9 in 2000, with 30 years of service. They owe me retirement benefits!

    /sarcasm off/

But whatever…… I guess that some folks are more entitled to be where they want to be, in spite of any downside, than others of us are.

I feel about as sorry for them as I do for myself, which is to say not at all. Get over it, people!

How dare you desecrate a great Diana Ross song by linking it to the Lying Crapweasel Charlie Crist (though honestly, it’s the weakest of Diana’s three 1980 hits)? Do it again and you’ll force me to kick your ass or otherwise retaliate by linking Lynyrd Skynyrd to something equally awful.

I think DADT is more trouble than it is arguably worth. Since the military can control behavior a thousand different ways, let gays serve.

Frankly firing Gay Arabic language speakers from the Army under DADT so they can immediately get hired by contractors and make six figures plus does not make a lot of sense either.

But Charlie Crist supporting it? Jeez, he is about as toxic as Snarlin Arlen.

Remember the HBO documentary last year: Outrage: Do Ask, Do Tell. (Obligatory disclaimer: Not That There’s Anything Wrong With That).
