We luv huh! We love every twangy, non-blue-state approved word. We love the thought of heads in the Lefty Borg going critical and triggering a chain-reaction ‘splosion of new-clear proportions.

Go, Sarah!

Nate Silver claims the Democrats may do much better than expected, and cites some polling in congressional districts that seems to show that while voters would prefer to be represented by a Republican, they still intend to vote for their incumbent Democrat. This, Silver supposes, will counter-balance the “generic ballot” advantage the GOP enjoys.

Obviously, Nate has access to the good stuff and is not afraid to smoke it.

Others note that virtually none of the polling in individual districts this year has used either a large enough sample nor a proper methodology to be considered valid, but we don’t want to harsh Silver’s mellow.

Fifty-two percent (52%) of Likely U.S. Voters say their own views are closer to Sarah Palin’s than they are to President Obama’s, according to a new RasmussenReportsnational telephone survey.
Just 40% say their views are closer to the president’s than to those of the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate.

Eighty-four percent (84%) of Republicans and 59% of voters not affiliated with either major party say their views are more like Palin’s.

76% of Republicans and 52% of unaffiliated voters now hold a favorable opinion of Palin.

HMMMMM..things are looking up wouldn’t you say?

Dan, what those numbers show is that once Palin decides to run, she can concentrate on convincing people she has the leadership ability and the general knowledge level to be Prez. Anyone who has taken the time to actually look into her accomplishments, doesn’t have the opinion that she can’t do the job.

They assaulted Rush with the “drug addict” attack. They’ve assaulted everyone who isn’t a Democrap with raaaaacist attacks. They’re now resorting to calling everyone who isn’t a Democrap “crazy”…and NONE of it has worked.

Looks like a tsunami to me! And it will only be a bigger tsunami two years from now.

O/T (and meanwhile in the DE Senate race):

Think this might be worth a post, guys? I know it might get in the way of more important things (sex tapes, etc.), but just a thought!

Not to get too nerdy on you here, but….I will.

“Going critical” is actually a good and normal thing. In a nuclear reactor, it is said to be critical when the number of neutrons produced from the last round of fissions is equal to the number produced in the current one. That means that power is not changing; it’s stable. We like that. Supercritical is when the number of neutrons increases and power goes up. Subcritical is when power goes down.
A detonation would not result from a reaction being critical (of course a reactor cannot detonate…period….but that’s a different discussion).

Of course, that’s not really relevant to the awesome video, but I always get annoyed when people misuse terminology. Critical sounds scary, I guess, but it’s not.

    Have a great day!
