Heritage.Org On The Continuing Fight Against ObamaCare

Via Heritage:

On Wednesday, Ken Hoagland, chairman of Restore America’s Voice Foundation, delivered the petitions of 1.6 million Americans demanding the repeal of Obamacare to legislators on Capitol Hill.

Pay attention to Rep. Steve King at 2:15, where he says, to paraphrase: We have very little experience undoing bad law. Once it’s on the books, it’s treated like the voice of the people. That’s why we have to be very determined to repeal this thing.

Lots of other good soundbites from other conservative Senators.

But the really, really important news event of the day has, thus far, gone unpublished:

    IT’S THE ADMIRAL’S BIRTHDAY!!

The man whose major claim to fame is declaring himself the father of the World’s Youngest Blogger – along with routing the Afghanistan navy on the high seas(?).

    Happy Birthday, Smitty!

Smitty, now that you’re a parent, you will forever have two birthdays a year.

    Happy Birthday Smitty!

[I heard he beat the Afghan Navy so badly they even gave up their whole coastline].

Fortunately for the effort to repeal ObamaCare, Senator Reid has set new precedent for changing the rules of the Senate which will help us get around any Democratic obstruction of the repeal bill.

The problem with that is if the GOP takes the Senate in ’12, Reid still has an entire lame duck session to change the rules back.
