A Net-Based Sarah Palin Write-In?

Muir at Day by Day is provocative, but I find the idea fraught with peril. Just as Congress doesn’t call a vote without a fairly deterministic outcome, the likelihood of a Sarah Palin write-in going pear shaped and resulting in Obama II: What Haven’t I Fracked Yet? is far too high for comfort.

In my perfect world, a viable conservative candidate, e.g. Santorum, would bring her on as a VP, both to harness the energy she brings, and to line her up for POTUS in 2020. Because 16 years of continuous fiscal sanity would be a fantastic start toward restoring liberty to its rightful place in this country.

You’re right, I’m irrelevant. I’m also right. So when The Gods of the Copybook Headings explain it to you, don’t say you weren’t warned more gently.

You know what might work though? A brokered convention and a Draft Palin movement.

She’s a loyal, patriotic American woman. Too bad nobody takes Obama seriously as a loyal, patriotic American. Some of us recognize him for the leftist, socialist faggot piece of fucking shit that he is.

If all the moderate GOPers would just vote for Santorum, then we wouldn’t be so divided.  My guess is that a Romney in the general will land him somewhere between Dole and McCain.

A lot of moderates voted for McCain in 2008, Repeating mistakes is not a good idea.

Do we really need to list all the terrible SCOTUS justices appointed by Republican presidents? Romney will appoint Souter or Kennedy juniors, guaranteed.

With a GOP Senate, liberal judges nominated to the SCOTUS by Romney will be approved.  With the same GOP senate, there is some possibility that liberal judges nominated by Obama will be stopped.

Our problem in the GOP is that we lack strategic thinkers. What we have are tacticians who think that winning a battle like getting Romney into the Whitehouse, wins the war.

    IT. WILL. NOT.

A strategic thinker recognizes that putting a milquetoast blueblood, spineless, wishy-washy, unprincipled, liberal Republican in the Whitehouse will be a victory because we just have to “stop Obama”.

W is twice the conservative that Romney will ever be and still, W gave us the compassionate conservatism that laid the foundation for the election of a President Obama.  Strategic thinkers on our side know that a Romney inauguration in 2013 will lay a sure foundation for a President Debbie Wasserman Schultz or a President Van Jones in 2017.

History should be our guide here.

    Should have read:

In fact my favorite vision of Palin is her sweeping through the halls of congress throwing out the whores and moneylenders – Yeah,
    biblical, whazzup with that?!

(Apparently my iPad had a bit of trouble with that ‘vision’ thing.) And please do quote me.

they despise her and will do whatever it takes to neutralize her, unless she becomes like them a pod person.

    Sort of like Nikki Haley.

Except with a Republican House and Senate, Obama will not be able to get any kind of ideological nominee confirmed.  He will have to move to the center on judicial nominees or face many vacancies.
