Your Mother Is Really Going to Love That Zenithink C91 Tablet From Amazon

Posted on | May 4, 2012 | 7 Comments

Look, I keep recommending jewelry as a Mother’s Day gift, but every time I check the Amazon Associates sales report, I find out we’ve sold some other high-end gizmo. Last week, it was a $300 lawn mower and a $500 laser printer. This week, it’s a 10.2-inch Zenithink C91 Android tablet for which somebody paid $199.99. I’m sure Mom will love it and, as always when you order through our Amazon links, you get low prices and kick me a sweet commission at no extra cost to you.

You can buy anything at Amazon — even the kitchen sink, or at least the faucet. Last week we sold a fancy contemporary kitchen faucet for $58, which I’m sure some thoughtful son will install at Mom’s house as a gift. Another reader got Mom a Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush for $38.

Click any link and shop around for great buys at Amazon. Most purchases over $25 come with free Super Saver shipping. Whether you’re buying something for yourself, or a gift for Mom, it’s the thought that counts — and also that sweet commission that helps me pay the bills.

Yeah, she’ll really love you for that Zenithink on Mother’s Day.

HER: “Oh, honey, thanks for the iPad!”
YOU: “Uh, it’s not actually an iPad mom, its an old, crappy Android tablet that someone got rid of and sold on Amazon when they realized that they could get a new iPad for only $349.

HER: “What are you, an Obama voter?”

Meh. Regardless of the OS, I think most tablets are useful only as scaled-up versions of the browser and e-mail functions of your smartphone, so unless you’ve drunk the Kool-Aid of the Cult of Jobs, nobody really cares about what flavor of box it is.

I promise that if I ever break down and buy the book Nuclear Energy (http://tinyurl.com/7wu3jsf) for my Kindle, I’ll go through this site.

No I didn’t. It was for me. And ya know, I’ve made 2 or 3 pricey purchases through your links and they never got mentioned. Then let the old Sonicare die my $38 replacement puts my name in lights. 🙂

    Joking above, btw.

But since I’m here I should tell you I’ve never found an easy link for making amazon purchases here. I try to always make my purchases through your site because I like (most of) your posts and I love that you and Mrs. Other are raising a house full of  kids.

Why not just put a big ole AMAZON button at the top? The first Amazon button one finds on this site seems to be an ad for ”
Blog-Fu Ninja Masters.”  I always wonder whether you are losing sales meant for you to this ad.

Oh for Pete’s sake. I was wrong.

Last post and I’m going. What I’ve always thought was part of an ad was your title to your blog roll. Sheesh. And the ad is yours. So never mind. 🙂

I’ll just be slinking off now.
