    Jerry Brown is about to find out that “the Washington Monument play” doesn’t fly any more, I think. Too many people are aware of the moronic funding of thousands of idiotic “feel good” programs that can definitely be cut long before you get to schools, police and fire.

    But Jer will keep plucking that chicken, right up to the moment that China forecloses.

     You’re probably right, but based on past performance, I fully expect Californians (legal, illegal, potato, potatoe) to continue voting themselves bread and circuses until the state implodes in bankruptcy.
