Essay Contest Winner: ‘Why I’m Not a Democrat, in Three Words’

Posted on | July 10, 2012 | 16 Comments

And those three words are, “Debbie Wasserman Schultz“:

Disclosure forms reveal that Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past.

At least there’s no need to out-source hypocrisy, eh?

So, not actually an invitation for “essay” entries?

Here’s what my submission would have been:

    “Europe already tried.”

disclosure forms reveal that in 2010, Wasserman Schultz invested between $1,001-$15,000in a 401k retirement fund run by Davis Financial Fund.

So the Weekly Standard finds teh named ‘Davis Financial Fund’ and from there on decides to run with it right to the State Bank of India for goodness sake! Wow.

And what was the amount she (indirectly) invested? Have some sense of perspective people. Imagine when Mitt Romney’s financial staments become public. I can’t wait for Weekly Standard to dig into it and print a thousand, thousand worded article.

To the above poster:  what the heck are you talking about?  DWS got on television and complained about “secret” offshore tax havens.  Nutty haveners like Schultz need to realize that this issue is dead.  Mitt has answered it and it’s time to move on.

I remember Snakehead and Lanny Davis during Billy Jeff’s maladminstration answering critics with “So What?” time after time. Liddy used to bring Davis on his radio program to “defend the indefensible” and give us all a good laugh.

One program most of what Davis had to say was “so what?” Liddy used to laugh at him before and after those segments. The Dims still take themselves seriously. They’re about the only people that do.

    Tut tut, Anamika..

    You missed the point.

DWS has also refused to release her tax information while calling for Romney to release his.

There’s a word for that and it rhymes with Shypocrisy.
