Ahem. The US Men’s National Team beat Mexico 1-0 IN Azteca Stadium for the first time EVER. That ought to be included in the sports’ headlines. 😉

Soccer, feh. It’s what men who are too uncoordinated for baseball and not bulky enough for the NFL play. This blogger has a standing policy of avoiding all mention of soccer (and golf) unless there’s Rule 5 content.

““It is not irrational for the 9/11 Museum not to feature those items in the museum; as [museum director Alice] Greenwald explained, the 9/11 Museum is ‘not in the business of providing equal time for faiths, we are in the business of telling the story of 9/11 and the victims of 9/11,’”

Funny. Most soccer players are more coordinated than baseball, and more athletic than the NFL. But hey, NHL non-activity is more important to…someone.
