Anybody Else Starting to Suspect @AmandaMarcotte Eats Dead Babies?

Just briefly noted last night that The Beast Who Wears Bangs had made an obnoxious fool of herself blaming pro-lifers for the heinous crimes of Kermit Gosnell, but even I didn’t really expect that she would be so eager to double down on bloodthirsty stupidity:

Man, the feeding frenzy over Gosnell is a sobering reminder of how much hatred there is out there towards women.

In this rhetorical formulation, the normal and expected reaction to pregnancy is to seek an abortion, so that “women” exist only insofar as they are defined by their right to ~~abortion~~ choice.

This conveniently defines out of existence any woman who is pro-life: To be a woman is to be pro-~~abortion~~choice.

In this bizarre Manichean dualism, there are only (a) people who share Amanda Marcotte’s gruesome death-fetish for maximizing the number of abortions, and (b) people who hate women. Somehow, within her rigid worldview, she must rationalize headlines like this:

Abortionist Slit Necks Of Babies Born Alive
In Front Of Teenage Employee, Told Assistant,
“That’s What You Call A Chicken With Its Head Cut Off”

It is the attempt to rationalize such brutality — to think of themselves as humanitarian philanthropists for defending this cruelty — that makes Amanda Marcotte and her comrades so manifestly insane.

She sees dead babies and thinks “feeding frenzy“? As a Rorshach inkblot test, that result speaks volumes about Amanda Marcotte.

Actually, the “Christofascist godbag” rhetoric was from Marcotte’s Edwards campaign co-blogger Melissa McEwan. I’m sure Marcotte shares the sentiment, but those were not her words.

24 hours ago, the top “story” at Memeorandum was based on a headline at Salon, titled “On Gosnell ‘blackout,’ where were conservatives before this week?” (not linking those dirtbags)

It’s like some idiot writes that headline, and millions of over-stressed “pro choicers” suddenly got a reprieve.

In reality, it’s more like the hangman cutting you a little slack. The dam burst on the story, thanks to right side bloggers. Bloggers who, by the way, have been discussing this for years. A fact anyone calling themselves a reporter could easily ascertain.

There are so many logical conflicts in Liberalism that it’s hard to count them all. The ‘cognitive dissonance’ is all over the place. For instance, you would think that the ‘Endangered Species Act’ would protect black male infants, but nooOOOoooo…. Planned parenthood is killing them by the thousands.

For every other member of the animal kingdom, Liberals go to great lengths to protect the ‘natural’ existence of the animals, even going so far as to disadvantage human communities. Liberals then build great wind-powered turbines to ‘swat’ endangered and protected birds out of the air by the hundreds.

One prominent exception to the ‘natural is better’ idea is the ‘human animal’. For some reason, liberals believe that human beings are the only member of the animal kingdom that are “better off” in a controlled environment. Socialism is a ‘simulated natural habitat’ for humans, that liberals claim is “even better than nature”.

Jonah Goldberg actually wrote a post at The Corner praising Marcotte for being consistent and linked to her Slate column. The same Jonah Goldberg who piled on Sarah Palin for using the term “blood libel” in her eloquent and heartfelt video response to the attacks leveled against her for inciting mass murder, including that of a 9-year-old girl.
That’s the third time I’ve seen someone at The Corner link to Marcotte.
I am so glad I’m a chaining smoking alcoholic because otherwise I would have killed myself a long time ago.

I have a question: has Marcotte expressed one iota of horror or sympathy for Gosnell’s victims? I’m sure I could look through the interwebs for proof, but I typically don’t troll for her sewer-based vitriol (and only comment on it when folks like our gracious host are brave enough to stomach it).

I doubt she did; first, she’d never acknowledge the babies Gosnell slaughtered — to her, like MSNBC’s Harris-Perry, they’re “things” to be destroyed for the sake of “choice.”

Second, like a lot of feminists, her attitude toward these women seems to be: shut up and take one for the team.

Marcotte has certifiable mental issues.

Little Jonah is still in hi skool and hasn’t grown up enough to realize that consistency doesn’t mean much in certain things. He’ still smarting from what the Paleos did to him 10 years ago and hasn’t been able to get past it. Maybe in another 20-30 years, but I would hold my breath.
