    I have to say I haven’t seen the WH press corpse question Carney this aggressively in over four years. Did they really believe he was always up front and honest with them before? Or do they now believe Obama is going to take a huge hit on this scandal and cover-up and that they dare not miss the boat by not being counted among the pursuers?

    Fascinating.

    The other popular excuse has been fear of retaliation. Obama’s henchmen are notorious for calling editors and their bosses, and bosses’ corporate bosses, and punishing those who ask tough questions with less access. Why are they no longer able to intimidate?

    Or is it Hillary’s blood they smell in the water? Obama threw his own grandmother under the bus to evade the Reverunt Wright taint, he probably liked her more than the “likable enough” Clinton.

    They’re just gearing up for the two-minutes’ hate that will happen on shift change (otherwise known as Hillary’s Turn). Then it will be safe to cast mild aspersions on the people under barack.

    Let’s hope they end up being greatly disappointed.

    Can’t wait to hear Carney explain how the “low level” IRS peeps were targeting conservatives and Jewish organizations for delay and scrutiny and making unconstitutional demands of them – while their supervisors all the way up to IRS General Counsel KNEW in 2011 and continued to lie about it until now – when, coincidentally, a news story was about to break exposing them.
