Deranged Cyberstalker Bill Schmalfeldt: Bats, Belfry, Some Assembly Required

When last we left the strange saga of Bill Schmalfeldt, the self-described “brain-damaged troll,” his incessant barrage of Twitter gibberish had become so demonstrably crazy that there were fears for his safety. Apparently, however, the nice young men in white coats didn’t take Bill to the Funny Farm, or else the psychiatric staff at Spring Grove have granted him Internet access for therapeutic reasons, because he’s still ranting today. Now he’s got new reasons to rant — Ken White at Popehat has begun his dismantling of Schmalfeldt. A few excerpts:

Our special tonight is a disturbed self-styled journalist named Bill Schmalfeldt. . . .
He leaves no sense of what values he promotes, only of what groups and individuals he hates. There’s only one circumstance when you get a sense that he’s enjoying what he does, that he has a craft or a calling. That’s when he’s describing someone being raped, murdered, or otherwise abused, or when he’s pursuing the families of someone he hates. . . .
There are constant themes. The first is that, though he is nominally “progressive,” he delights in using homoerotic imagery and insults normally associated with homophobes to attack people he doesn’t like . . .
Second, despite being nominally “progressive,” he is perfectly willing to indulge in racism to revile people he doesn’t like. . . .
Third, he’s really, really into the rhetoric of violence and murder.  . . .
Fourth, Schmalfeldt enjoys attacking the family of his political targets.  . . .
Schmalfeldt . . . reported [Breitbart.com contributor Lee] Stranahan to the Dallas Police, the FBI, the District Attorney, the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and Texas Family Protective Services . . .
Bill Schmalfeldt doesn’t have principles. Bill Schmalfeldt doesn’t have values. Bill Schmalfeldt doesn’t have beliefs. Bill Schmalfeldt has enemies, and then nothing, a black and dank and empty void of sullenness. . . .

Two weeks ago, when Bill Schmalfeldt threatened me with a spurious copyright claim, I replied with 5,000 words to explain something really simple: BILL SCHMALFELDT IS CRAZY. He keeps providing more evidence of his irrationality, because he can’t help himself. This will not end well for him. He will either go to jail or go to the nuthouse, or else he’ll suffer a fatal neurological and physical breakdown.

If anyone were sincerely interested in Bill Schmalfeldt’s well-being, they’d be begging him to stop, but nobody who actually knows Bill Schmalfeldt likes Bill Schmalfeldt. He evidently lacks any concern for whatever remains of his own human dignity. None of his enemies could ever hate him as much Bill Schmalfeldt hates himself.

  2. In between the usual attacks, the lying about Patterico, the whining about valid criticism, he likened himself to Mother Teresa.

    That gave me pause.

    He does hate himself.

  3. I guess Schmalfeldt is pissed at me ’cause I spelled his name wrong in my aggregation of yesterday’s posts about him.

    Oh well…if that was all I had to worry about, I’d run for President.

    DIGNITY?

    That is a virtually unknown concept on the left! The thing that is Bill Schmalfeldt does not even approach humanity except through a possibility of possessing some human DNA in that pathetically twisted blob he considers a body but which I liken to what was found in a London sewer (http://thecampofthesaints.org/2013/08/06/breaking-wind-obamas-ego-found/) against something nominally human and possessing a soul.

  7. I went over to the website of @catsrimportant, one of BS’s enablers. She describes herself, in part, as a survivor of rape and sexual abuse. This is a common theme among those on the left, and one that BS fully embodies: that of victim. They’re always a victim of something or someone, if only in their own minds. They wear it like a badge of honor. It’s like an award to them.

  11. I know this one is probably the nastiest in language, but I feel sorry for him. I can’t help it. He’s obviously miserable. Probably as dangerous to himself as he is to others. I pray that God gives him a moment of lucidity to see what he is and is doing to the families of his targets, and that he be further blessed with the courage to get the help he needs. His life is wasted with his hateful and indecipherable campaign. And those who have used this ill man as a weapon: I just leave the judgment for their evil to God as well.

  12. Two things — first off I think you meant to say that Bill Schmalfeldt is F*CKING crazy!
    Second — he is married, right? Has his wife read what he writes? Does she approve of it? Is she just nodding along with him while he goes off on these heinous rants and attacks? Is she enabling his behaviour? That’s just as disturbing as thinking he’s a lone, loose cannon.

  14. Thus making them eminently mockable. My whole online existence is to mock, make fun of, point fingers at, snark about, parody, aim sarcastic comments at and otherwise identify and scorn the assclowns in our government and society. Such richness awaits me!

  15. I grieve upon seeing the GB Packer logo on this troll’s cave wall. to think that such human excrement would defile the noble Packers…oh the humanity!

  19. I still maintain that evidence suggests he has coprophiliac tendencies and those are marital aids.
