Dueling Meltdowns: Bill Schmalfeldt and #FreeKate’s Disgusting Supporters

Today, two different Bill Schmalfeldt accounts got banned from Twitter — he still doesn’t understand why being a “Team Kimberlin” member is a losing proposition — and while that was happening, there was news on the Kaitlyn Hunt story. First, Matt Philbin of the Culture and Media Institute examined ABC’s 20/20 segment:

[Matt] Gutman’s report was a masterpiece of advocacy masquerading as journalism. He breathlessly recounted Hunt’s original arrest, saying Indian River police “set a trap” for Kaitlyn. Then, “In an interrogation room, Kaitlyn is questioned, asked about intimate details most people wouldn’t want to discuss with their best friend, never mind a police officer.” Of course, people who enjoy having sex with kids in public lavatories may not be quite so fastidious about intimate details, but never mind.
Interviewing Kaitlyn, Gutman hammered her with such tough questions as, “Did you love her?”; “What does it feel like to become this icon of the gay community?”; and “I wonder if you feel that you made a mistake here? Did you do anything wrong?” (She doesn’t think so.) And he teased out such bombshell revelations as, “I felt like my senior year was, like, ruined.”

Read the whole thing. Meanwhile, shockingly, Hunt’s deranged supporters are busy lashing out at famed crime-fighter John Walsh:

@Ali Abkar and I will talk about this and more tonight at 9 p.m. ET:

  1. Wow Kate sexually violating a minor is just like public urination now.

The depth of depravity apparently hasn’t found a bottom on twitter yet.

What is – you can’t have sex with children so difficult for pedophile’s and their enablers to understand?

Florida needs a task force just to check up on all those twitter handles advocating no penalty for child rape.

  2. We waste so much time battling over immutable concepts such as sex, gender, marriage and race and we’re leaving poor old ‘consent’ so woefully vulnerable.

If a court can change your sex, give you two parents of the same sex or even three parents (thanks CA!), redefine marriage, rewrite history and destroy God, then it’s open season on consent.

  3. I think Gutman had a huge hand in crafting the Trayvon Martin “story”. I recognize his name from theconservativetreehouse.com reporting.

  4. I’m kind of intrigued by who this “Scotty MacDonald” character is – he blames John Walsh for whatever notification requirements he is under (Sex Offender?). I did find a “William Scott MacDonald” mentioned in this article about enacting law to protect 17 year old girls from 47 year old predators.

MCAULIFFE ATTACKS CUCCINELLI FOR PROSECUTING SEXUAL PREDATORS

Last month saw the 4th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals overturn an anti-sodomy statute in Virginia law that can be used to prosecute sexual predators who prey on our children, with a ruling handed down by a three-judge panel as opposed to the full bench. Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli subsequently appealed the decision, sparking a headwind of media chatter, driven by far-left websites like Mother Jones.

  5. It’s one thing (one very nasty thing) to be without morality. It’s another to convince yourself that your amorality is somehow evidence of moral superiority.

To attack John Walsh by figuratively pissing on his son’s grave (“nobody can prove he was molested because they only recovered the kid’s head!”) goes into some hideously dark soulless region. John Walsh is evil because poor poor pitiful Scotty MacDonald has to notify the police wherever he goes bespeaks a moral inversion so ghastly it nearly makes me believe in Neitzsche. Looking onto the abyss…

Except that these people are not Neitzschean, they’re children of Rousseau.

  6. It’s terrible what happened to Adam Walsh but there is no single individual in this country more responsible for the child abduction/child predator hysteria and media sensationalism that has swept suburbia over the last two decades than John Walsh.

  7. Of course it’s a bad thing because it’s fear mongering and hype. The majority of victims either know or are related to their abuser and not the victim of lurking strangers like John Walsh and mainstream media would have you believe.

  8. Ah, the ubiquitous leftist “but,” which you use to pay lip service to an idea and then immediately dismiss it. To me it always telegraphs that a prog is about to admit what he really thinks after giving himself cover.

You remember, right? “Of course 9/11 was a tragedy, but…” or “I certainly don’t approve of female genital mutilation, but…” or “Well, the Communists in the old USSR went too far, but…”

It’s a terrific way to make a lie of what you’ve just said while publicly polishing your morally superior credentials. And I can understand that you feel that widespread public disgust with kiddy diddlers is a bad thing. But don’t pretend that it grants you any moral high ground.

  9. These disgusting examples of a waste of humanity are the typical progressive crowd, those enamored of the “diversity of perversity”.

  11. Well, it is Jules’ kid. Or rather, the kid belongs to the community. So who the hell are you to tell Jules what he (or she, whatever) may do with the community’s property?

  12. Actually, I don’t think Team Kimberlin has any problem with Team Kate, given their Captain’s history of having the eye for rather young prospective wives.

  13. And of course, just a whole lot of derp and facile analysis about “leftists” from a right wing extremist. These little conspiratorial screeds you guys go on are dumb, tiresome, and tantamount to(and as ineffective)as the average liberal screaming racism. Point was dipshit, the narrative that the majority of abductions are committed by strangers is false and most abuse takes place in the home or by someone the child knows. How you twisted that into a “condemnation of public disgust for child molesters” is just another example of your half-assed partisan thinking and makes my point for me.

  14. It’s horrible what happened to those kids but their cases are yet another example of media hype and are actually in the minority while the majority of abuse takes place in the home and goes unreported for years.

  16. More inane derp about communism… You guys have been so warped by conservative media and propaganda you now just react like Pavlov’s dog to anything that disagrees with your narrative. Hows it feel to be a slave of Koch industries, ALEC, and to do their bidding without even knowing it? Im no sure what pointing out how most abuse takes place in the home and not at the hands of strangers has to do with leftism, communism, or condoning child rape but lo and behold you morons always find a way to connect everything to politics. Good job, loser.

  17. Dude, are you for real or a parody? It is haard to tell.

So your position is that there is a false narrative that strangers are the majority of abusers and that this is the Koch brothers fault, and you call *other* people nutjobs?

Question – was it your father, or was it one of your mother’s boyfriends?

    Tell us, we don’t judge.

  18. Hows it feel to be a slave of Koch industries

Pretty good. The thing about making sure you’ve got libertarian owners, is they don’t tell you what to do, they leave you alone.

  19. So, you admit that liberals scream “Raaaaacism” (with 5 a’s but no justification) and that it’s “dumb, tiresome, and …ineffective”. Good to know.

I don’t normally engage trolls but this admission was too good to let slide. Love it when the mask slips.
