Busy Day on the Kook Beat

When you specialize in writing about criminals, perverts, weirdos and kooks, sometimes it’s hard to keep them all sorted out. My Twitter timeline and e-mail inbox fill up with tips, from all over. Here’s the World’s Most Famous Sex Offender Kaitlyn Hunt talking about the nude photos and masturbation video she sent her underage victim:

Looking back on it, that contact is one mistake Hunt readily regrets, as she told WPTV. “Yeah I do regret it because I trusted her as not only my friend but my girlfriend, too. I felt I got set up in multiple ways and I got hurt by her,” Hunt said. She says she still cares about the younger teen, just not the same way. “I don’t love her the way I did before,” she said.

“I got set up in multiple ways” = “I got caught, because I’m stupid.”

“I don’t love her the way I did before” = “Now that I’m in jail, I can’t finger her in the school restroom toilet stall.”

Kaitlyn’s mother Kelley Hunt Smith . . . words fail:

Bill Schmalfeldt? Yeah, words fail there, too:

Meanwhile, I spent more than a half-hour on the phone today with an Indiana source, getting helpful additional background on the pro se plaintiff in Kimberlin v. Walker, et al.

Also, via others sources, I obtained some important documents I hope to post later. If these Team Kimberlin weirdos imagine that, by any lack of diligent preparation, I’m going to lose a defamation lawsuit to a convicted bomber and perjurer, they’re crazy.

But of course, they’re crazy anyway. Quod erat demonstrandum.

Speaking of self-evidently crazy people, Amanda Marcotte is angry at Twitter because . . . well, she’s just angry a lot, isn’t she?

  1. So now she’s claiming “bitch set me up”?

    Really Kaitlyn? Really?

20,000 text messages is a setup?

You really, really, need help of the mental kind.

  2. I couldn’t help but notice that the interview lacked certain pertinent facts to the case, like how Kate acknowledged in the police report that she knew the victim was underage but “thought it didn’t matter cause she acted older”, and how when the victim ran away from home, Kate picked her up and spent the weekend with her playing hide the dildo with her at her own home.
Blatant Bullshit at it’s best…I see a future in politics for St. Kate.
    O.o

  3. See, this shows why the premise of any argument is actually determinant of the outcome, even more than the logic of the argument.

Kaitlyn begins with the premise that she didn’t really do anything wrong, ergo, any negative consequence she suffers for her action must be explained as the result of wrongdoing by others.

This is why the minimizing and rationalizing by the “Free Kate” crowd is so predictable: They have accepted the premise of Kaitlyn’s cosmic innocence — i.e., whether or not she violated the law, her actions were not “wrong” in a larger sense — and this is the fulcrum of every argument they offer: “They both went to the same school!” (It was illegal.) “It was consensual!” (It was illegal.) “They were in love!” (It was illegal.)

To them, morality should be whatever feels “fair,” and if facts or logic intrude, well facts are hate and logic is unfair.

  4. of course the interviewer couldn’t be bothered to ask how Kate managed to get/stay in contact with the victim in the first place. Giving the victim and Ipad and telling them to keep it hidden/lie about contact wouldn’t fit the Narrative would it…O.o

  5. Just a modicum of humility would maybe earn her some empathy. She is a poster child for the damage poor parenting, poor mentoring & poor role models can do to a child. The whole Hunt clan and the #freakate enablers contributed significantly to this outcome for Kate, as did her own ignorance and stupidity.

So according to the LGBTQWTF’ers we should all adopt this more enlightened approach to parenting.

  6. I have had a troll on occasion, enough to know I don’t handle them nicely, and there is NO WAY I could tolerate the number of trolls that I’ve seen on your timeline. I’d go so ban happy you’d think that that was the only thing I ever did. Good on you for being able to rationally(most times) deal with them.

As to Katie the pervs mom: nut + tree = not far.

Smegfelt on the other hand has got to rate right up there with Dahmer or Gacy on the creepy scale.

  7. And her arrest had nothing to do with laws relating to dating, relationships or love and everything to do with sordid toilet sex with a minor aka statutory rape.

  8. And she did not even have the common courtesy to thank the trucklers and lickspittles of the Florida State’s Attorney’s Office for making her the world’s most famous homosexual paedophile!

  9. Well, because it’s obviously the law that’s wrong and must be changed…..not the selfish, predatory behavior. Don’t see any remorse there at all, only attempts to shift blame and excuse her actions.

  10. Marcotte’s rant is interesting, if for no other reason than it provides further evidence of the Leftist foundation of Feminism. That is, she apparently believes that when a man has an idea, produces a product or service, monetizes it to the point where it goes public, the price for which is determined by, inter alia the quality of the management team which got the company to that point in the first instance, then said company is required to open its board room to a woman, solely because of her sex. Stated differently, we let the men create the success and we just jump on the bandwagon after the dirty work’s been done.

  11. Unfortunately, this strategy will prove quite successful for St Kate and her lecherous supporters… This party is just getting started!

  12. That’s the thing about the kook beat.

It attracts all the really interesting trolls that do nothing but gum up your comment section.

  13. Keep you kids away from this freak:

Dr. Elisabeth “Eli” Sheff, Ph.D., is the foremost academic expert on polyamory in the United States, and the foremost expert on polyamorous families with children world-wide. Her book The Polyamorists Next Door: Inside Multiple-Partner Relationships and Families details the results of her 15-year study of polyamorous families with children. An expert witness, Guardian Ad Litem, educational consultant, and public speaker with a background in academic sociology, Dr. Sheff specializes in gender and sexual minority families, kink/BDSM, and issues facing trans* people. 14. I’m going to address to the second half of the subject matter.

This is the fundamental problem with bad actors who sue. There is never a shortage of people or evidence that can be dug up to discredit them as plaintiffs. Whether it’s Sherrod or Kimberlin or Schmalfeldt (who almost certainly one day dreams of suing Mr. Hoge), these people always leave a trail of carnage.

Take Sherrod for instance. She’s claiming defamation. I’m not an attorney, but several family members are. And that opens her up to uncomfortable discovery. At this very moment Lee Stranahan is already flooding the internet with damning evidence of her direct involvement in the Pigford fraud.

As for Kimberlin…all anyone needs to fight any action filed by him, is to put out a post on the internet and provide contact information. People will come to you. In droves.

And Bill Schmalfeldt? Well, McCain himself coined a phrase that was obvious to the jurist who applied it. “All that is necessary to discredit Bill Schmalfeldt is to quote Bill Schmalfeldt.”

  15. Precisely. She’s a hired gun used to tell idiot judges that anything other than heterosexual marriage is just dandy for kids. Once you create a world where absolutely no value judgment is allowed, you open yourself up to “experts” opining about various equally permissible and outcomes. Undoubtedly, she sees no damage in maintaining the “practice” she does. For that, I cannot determine whether despair or blind rage is the appropriate emotion.

  16. This was the first time I’d seen Hunt on video, and it was striking how flat her affect is. The interviewer asked such simplistic leading questions, designed to flatter her and she couldn’t lose the attitude long enough to take advantage.

If I knew nothing of her story, I still would have been saying, “SOCIOPATH” while watching the 20/20 clips.

  17. I don’t think we’ve heard last from Gay, Inc’s hot new teen lesbian cheerleader spokescreep for the repeal of those “unfair” age-of-consent laws…

  18. It will be disturbing to watch how enthusiastic she’ll become when she’s done playing the part of the “unjustly” incarcerated victim here when she’s free, free, free!

Gee, thanks, Florida State’s Attorney’s Office, for the 20,000 violations of bail St Kate’s been exonerated of! Angela Corey (remember her?) is probably behind it all…

  19. So I just saw the Channel 5 interview from yesterday. WOW. I could break it down, but I’ll simply say this: I believe this woman has ASPD.
