They spent $400 million to launch the stupid thing, and now they’re hiring contractors in a desperate attempt to make it work.

And by “work,” of course, I mean, destroy our economy.

    And they’ll be hiring a hell of a lot more people to sign people up by phone and dead tree paperwork. But don’t worry all of the folks who tried to use the site but gave up before they could actually get insured have not done so in vain. All who visited the site but didn’t get insurance will be visited at home by special teams comprising one member each of the NSA and NPS as well as an education department or EPA swat team.
