Mexican Murder Suspect Is Finally Deported After 13-Year U.S. Crime Spree

Mexican criminal Fabian Godinez-Oseguera deported by ICE.

This case “ought to make your blood boil,” indeed: Fabian Godinez-Oseguera was wanted on a warrant in Mexico for a 2000 murder. He fled to the United States and — despite multiple felony convictions here and having been repeatedly deported to Mexico — was still running around loose in Washington State until 2011:

A former Bremerton man has been transferred to the custody of the Mexican Attorney General’s Office to face murder charges there from 2000.
Fabian Godinez-Oseguera has been deported to Mexico four times in the past. Each time, he returned to Kitsap County, where his wife and children reside.
Kitsap County Sheriff’s spokesman Scott Wilson said Godinez-Oseguera has had many interactions with local law enforcement, using a variety of aliases. He was arrested in 2006 by Bremerton Police under the name Francisco Ramos Campos for outstanding warrants ranging from marijuana possession to DUI to unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to Andrew Munoz, public affairs officer for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Godinez-Oseguera is a documented gang member who has been involved in methamphetamine trafficking. He was remanded from Kitsap County Jail in October 2011 to the custody of ICE. He was presented for federal prosecution and sentenced. After serving a 13-month sentence at the NW Detention Center for Civil Immigration, ICE officers have now turned him over to Mexican authorities.

Let’s recap: A drug dealer and gang member wanted for murder in Mexico repeatedly returned to the United States “where his wife and children reside” and evaded apprehension for his crimes by “using a variety of aliases.” If that’s not enough to make your blood boil, how about this Obama administration press release?

A former Seattle-area man was deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operation (ERO) Thursday to Mexico where he faces homicide charges.
Fabian Godinez-Oseguera, 37, also known as “El Güero Loco,” was turned over to Mexican authorities at the U.S.-Mexico border at El Paso, Texas.  . . .
“Criminals who seek to escape responsibility for their actions by fleeing to the United States will find no sanctuary in our communities,” said Nathalie Asher, field office director for ERO Seattle.

Three words: Bull. Fucking. Shit.

Foreign criminals are provided sanctuary in many U.S. communities. Michelle Malkin has written extensively about “sanctuary cities” like New York, San Francisco and Seattle that have an official policy of deliberate non-cooperation with immigration enforcement.

Has anyone ever heard Obama — or any member of his administration or any Democrat member of Congress — say a single critical word about these “sanctuary cities” that make an open mockery of our nation’s immigration laws? Of course not. They’re all liars.

They should be ashamed of themselves, but if they had any sense of shame, they wouldn’t be Democrats, would they?

Poor legal work on his part. If he wanted to be transgendered, as a murderer, he would likely qualify for the tax payers picking up that cost. Of course, there is give and take with that.

Somehow I doubt the Mexican penal system will be as good with gender reassignment. Or if they are, it will involve something along these lines.

this is one of those situations where good folks with a gun could have solved the problem during one of his felonies, without a waste of money or time.

Like all 3rd World Countries, a criminal’s freedom is purchased by auction by local and/or national authorities. Willing to bet Godinez didn’t bid high enough with his contributions to the Washington State Democrat Party and to the DNC.
Washington State used to be a nice place before it went 3rd World.

Although the problem clearly predates the current administration, we”ll just add Barack Obama to that long list of politicians ignoring the question of border security.

Shit, I used to live there.

But then, the local sheriff is more concerned about getting drunk sailors off the roads in that town than anything else.

If “sanctuary cities” are allowed to ignore immigration laws, can we have “liberty states” where federal firearm laws are ignored?

Thanks for the mention. I have a pages of crimes committed by illegal immigrants on my site if interested.

And, you even found more information on this criminal alien and how he degraded the lives of American citizens. All due to the Republicans and Democrats encouraging illegal immigration from Mexico.

Obama has actually done a better job on “border security” than Bush or Clinton, although all of the programs that led to the improvement began or were passed under Bush. The problem is only a tiny percentage of illegal aliens sneak across the border.

Most enter legally as day visitors or on tourist, student, or work visas and just don’t go home. We have no way of tracking day visitors, and we don’t bother to try to track expired visas. All the fences in the world won’t help in those cases.

I favor retaliating in kind. Cities that refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement are CUT OFF from federal funds, PERIOD.

See how fast they start rounding up their “victims” in the “sanctuary cities.”

We have to acknowledge that there is no practical way to prevent criminals from entering the country and remaining here illegally and committing crimes while they are here. BUT when we catch a guy with both a criminal record in his home country AND committing crimes here, he should be deported. If he is caught a second time, a diplomatic protest should be lodged with the home country. If we make it worth their while to watch their own criminals, they will.

Of course, it is criminal for ICE or the Administration to allow people with records like this guy bail, which they often do – which is immediately jumped.

No, if he transgendered he would only face humiliating discrimination from the cis-lesbian community, which is said to be far worse than prison.

Well, the Libertarian Party has had Open Borders as a key part of their platform since their founding, except in recent years they cloak it under “freedom of movement,” so it seems unfair to exclude them from culpability, at least in spirit.

“Obama has actually done a better job on “border security” than Bush or Clinton,”
Nah. He’s just found new and creative ways to hide his failures. If you believe the border is safer than it’s ever been, you probably believe you can keep your doctor and your health plan, too!

Please do not put words in my mouth. I said Obama’s border enforcement record is better than Bush’s or Clinton’s, but because of Bush-era laws. I NEVER said or implied it was “safer than it’s ever been,” and certainly don’t believe that.

I would never put words in your mouth, I don’t know where it’s been! I was referencing public statements Obama and his lackeys said, that the border was safer than it’s ever been. I figured that readers of TOM would be politically sophisticated enough to catch that. My bad. So let me break it down for you, without putting words in your mouth:

“If you believe what Obama says, then you believe what Obama says.” Much of Obama’s “improvement” is based on redefining terminology in its reporting. In other words, what the Obama administration is saying about the quality of border enforcement differs from reality, much the same way as the quality vs. reality of Obamacare..

The problem here is that ICE did not deport his wife and kids as well. They were a magnet for him to return.

Plus, even if you only look at a reduction of people crossing the border, you have to factor in the abysmal economy and lack of economic opportunities available under Obama’s less than sterling leadership.

  27. Federale
    January 19th, 2014 @ 9:25 pm

The problem is that they are not ripping families apart, or, more accurately, not deporting a family together.

    January 20th, 2014 @ 12:13 am

Agree. That’s just the complaint I read again and again.

Of course if they did deport the family, there would be a new excuse the next time they crossed illegally.
