The New Feminist Fashion

Feminist artist Eleanor Beth Haswell (@Elle_Haswell) has designed what the fashionable Women’s Studies major will be wearing:

Art student Eleanor Beth Haswell’s ‘Why are you so afraid of your own anatomy?’ collection is all about the vagina knickers.
Haswell’s undies . . . are a true celebration of the female anatomy and come complete with an annotated diagram of said lady parts, demonstrating exactly where everything — from the fallopian tube to the cervix — actually is.
The designer-turned-gynaecologist also created a bra to go with her knickers making the ultimate matching set.

See, ladies? If you’re not parading your vagina around in public, you’re “afraid of your own anatomy,” according to feminism.

Let’s read the “about” page at Eleanor Beth Haswell’s web site:

Eleanor Beth Haswell is an eighteen year old art student from North East England, who previously studied Fine Art and Graphic Design at Durham Sixth Form Centre and is going on to start Sunderland University and complete the Foundation Degree in Art and Design. Her work is mainly photography based, covering feminist issues such as body shaming in the media, as well as her previous project on domestic violence. Prior to this, Eleanor also created a project based around the cruelty to animals within the cosmetic and fur industry, to which she made a series of advertisements showing the unseen effects. She highlights mainly upon the negative views of body hair within her work, and the perception of beauty that the medias imprints within society today.
Out of education, she runs a North East England female identified arts collective named Clandestine Collective, of which she is also the logo/poster designer.

“Female-identified,” huh? From the collective’s Twitter account:

Feminists obsessed with female genitalia, which they are not afraid to proclaim “good enough to eat”? Yeah, there’s a word for that.

  1. I once told my wife, when our kids were small and we had a dog, that kids and dogs do gross things. Childish adults do as well, alas.

  2. Why wear underwear at all?
If they had any authenticity, they’d go commando. Posers.
(and of course, no pants either)

  3. There was probably that one time, back when she was 14…and she swore she’d never be victimized by a man again.

  4. Would Hillary wear them? Then again that broad’s so old – what difference would it make?

  5. Who’s afraid of their own anatomy? The looks to me like a solution in search of a problem.

  6. Feminists seem to be born with a talent for making everything they touch as unattractive as possible.

  7. And when they come off, the ladies discover they’re dealing with bait.
    Aka, “catch and release.”

  8. I don’t know. I can kinda see how something similar to this might be useful. My wife is always telling me I don’t know my ass from a hole in the ground…

  9. I asked my girlfriend the other day, ‘you know I’d like a little pussy’
and she said, ‘me to mine’s as big as a house!!’
    …. Hawkins, Predator

  10. So why is it that men are not obsessed with their penises and talk about them incessantly, make giant sculptures of them, and put them on clothing?

I suppose we don’t need to because feminists are nearly as obsessed with them as they are with their own lady parts. When they are not yammering on and on about their hoo-hahs they’re talking constantly about penises.

The real question I have is why would any serious person, or even a seriously frivolous person, take these ridiculous specimens seriously? They are as tiresome as they are stupid, and eminently predictable. Anyway, would somebody tip them off that never shutting up about various sexual organs does not establish gravitas and credibility?

  11. that’s not “vagina pants”. That’s ENTIRE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM PANTS. Geez. Why reduce the name of the feature to just ONE part?

  12. Who the heck claims to be “afraid” of their body?

We heard that crap back in the sixties.

It’s nothing more than an excuse people use when they plan on shoving some part of their anatomy in your face.

  13. A lot of feminists are so charmingly over-reubenesque that they can’t even see what’s down there in order to be afraid of it.
