The Kansas GOP insisted on nominating a weak incumbent because the challenger was too conservative, and now their guy is going to lose to a former Democrat.

    Tsk.

I’d make a comment about the wheel of kharma, but Mitch, Rove and Reince keep trying to run the wheel over us to keep their cart rolling…

Considering the trope that “the average American commits three felonies a day” imagine what the Feds can concoct for an entire police department subject to both state and federal regulation…

So Louisiana said that homosexuals can’t reach over, grab a ritual that has defined heterosexuals for 5,000 years and change its meaning to suit 2% of the population. Gee.

And another one- the last, I promise:

Clare Lopez says that Obama has switched sides. THIS Clare Lopez:

“…the Vice President for Research and Analysis at the Center for Security Policy and Senior Fellow at the London Center for Policy Research and the Canadian Meighen Institute and formerly with The Clarion Project . Since 2013, she has served as a member of the Citizens Commission on Benghazi. Also Vice President of the Intelligence Summit, she formerly was a career operations officer with the Central Intelligence Agency, a professor at the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies, Executive Director of the Iran Policy Committee from 2005-2006, and has served as a consultant, intelligence analyst, and researcher for a variety of defense firms. She was named a Lincoln Fellow at the Claremont Institute in 2011…”

I’d report this myself but our hosting service is down again so I can’t sign in. Probably another fine citizen has decided to mount another DOS. Or Islamic jinns in the intertubes…

Since I can’t report it, here you are…

There’s a great article on the rationale for the court’s ruling at Hot Air:

I think if we knew half of what goes on, we wouldn’t sleep well at night.

Clare Lopez said a big problem is the lack of understanding of ISIS’ short-and-long-term goals among the non-Muslim Bros in our own govt. The MB hunkered down among other govt workers is NOT concerned…

Opening up our borders is a big help to them, too. They can walk on in.

    Here’s what she said today:

    http://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/2014/09/04/drawing-the-u-s-into-armageddon/

If this comes to pass, I sure hope someone removes that fence around the WH. As President Obama has said, fences don’t do any good.

Anyone watch the pre-game show of the Seahawks/Packers game?

We were treated to a news report on The Media’s Beloved Gay Football Player. We were told that after he was cut, the higher-ups in the league called every team to see if anyone would take him on. And the commentator was very relieved that someone did, telling us that “the NFL avoided a nightmare situation.”

I’m in a weird world. I’m sure there are other NFL players with odd sex habits. Do THEY get that kind of treatment?
