Last week, in a post called “Feminism’s Big Lie,” I wrote:
Satan is the Father of Lies (John 8:43-45). Satan is the false accuser (Revelation 12:9-11). Satan constantly tells us lies about ourselves and lies about God. If you listen to that satanic voice, you will drive yourself crazy, because the lies are contradictory. Satan will tell you whatever you want to believe, whatever it takes to destroy you. Satan will tell you that your sins are so wicked that God cannot possibly love you. Then Satan will tell you there is no such thing as sin. Satan will tell you that good is evil, and evil is good, and that you should do evil because that will make you happier than doing good. Most of all, Satan tells us to reject God’s law, to instead make our own judgment of right and wrong.
This was the original lie of history: “Ye shall be as gods!”
That was controversial, because a lot of conservatives online aren’t religious, and also because it is widely assumed — without much evidence, actually — that overt appeals to biblical authority are bad for the Republican Party. Political experts tell us that young voters are alienated by expressions of Christian conservatism, and so we should just shut up about all that Bible stuff. My hunch is that the political experts, as usual, are wrong. And also, Satan is real.
Would you like to see evidence of metaphysical evil? In February 2014, a “genderqueer” woman posted this on Tumblr.com:
Recently my grandmother found out I’m queer. Her response was to tell me that she disapproves of me living with my “friend” (i.e. my girlfriend) and that I should give up my vile queer ways and become a Christian (Lol). She even sent me a bible. Here are its remains, which I made into black-out poetry.
Her “black-out poetry” consisted of using neon highlighter on some words, and using black marker to obliterate the rest. She transcribes her poetic creations, one of which is this:
Fisting (from Judges 8:5) — “water/ lap the water/ drink/go down to drink/your hands/go down/I give into your hands/go down/encouraged/down/on the seashore/the whole hand/your hand/inside/I get to the edge/and shout/grasping/crying out/Beth/Beth/Beth/Beth/Beth/God/I came”
You can click here to see a photo of that blasphemous “poem.” (Having consulted my Bible, I realize that the passage she uses actually begins with Judges 7.) Can you imagine the insane hatred inside this woman, that she would take a Bible — a gift from her own grandmother! — and make it into such a heinously abusive celebration of degeneracy?
Do you think that people this crazy and hateful are not also in the grasp of a frightening evil? What kind of person do you think would act this way? Nine months later, the same person posted this:
Please help me pay for my
medical expenses and diagnoses!
Hello! My name is Robin. I am 25 years old, queer, and non-binary. Because of my disabilities and mental illnesses, I have been unable to work since March of 2014. Back when I was working, I was only able to work part-time, for minimum wage, at extreme cost to my mental and physical health. This has led me to seek medical treatment, as well as official diagnoses for my illnesses and disabilities so that I may apply for disability income (also known as Social Security Income, or SSI).
My disabilities and illnesses include: I am on the Autism Spectrum. I also have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression (including mania and dissociative symptoms), generalized anxiety, joint pain that makes bending, walking, and standing for long periods of time difficult, and fatigue. I have been having to see a gastroenterologist for digestive issues and pain that have lasted several months now. He recommended a colonoscopy that is well out of my budget.
My partner is currently helping with my living costs, but she cannot continue doing so indefinitely and cannot assist much with my medical expenses. . . .
Once my physical health is taken care of, I will seek treatment and official diagnoses for my mental illnesses and for Autism. These diagnoses by medical professionals are required for me to apply to SSI. If I were to be accepted, it would greatly relieve our financial burdens and stress. It would allow me more stability while I try to recover from my mental illnesses and physical health issues.
Robin the Disabled Mentally Ill Nonbinary Queer has useful skills!
In exchange for helping me out, please allow me to do Tarot readings for you! I have been reading Tarot for myself for five years and for others for one year. . . .
I currently have the World Spirit Tarot, the Shadowscapes Tarot, the Romance Angels Oracle, and the Angel Therapy Oracle. If you have a preference which deck or spread I use, please let me know. Otherwise, I will pick the one most suited to your question.
So, five years ago, she began doing tarot card readings, and by November 2014 she’s so sick and crazy she’s soliciting donations to help her get diagnosed to be eligible for federal disability payments. Maybe you think this is all just a coincidence, that Robin’s mental illness and her sexual perversion are unrelated to her blasphemous hatred of God and her dabbling in the occult. Maybe I’m just an ignorant hillbilly Bible-thumper for suspecting that Robin’s misfortunes are not entirely coincidental.
Perhaps you’d care to check out Robin’s witchcraft Tumblr site?
I’m reminded of what Pat Robertson said more than 20 years ago:
I keep telling you people: Every single word of that is true.
“There are no Christian feminists, because feminism is a sort of narcissistic idolatry, wherein women deny God and instead worship themselves as their own divinity.”
— Robert Stacy McCain, Dec. 17

The Evil and Crazy are pulling pulling the just Crazy (who may recover) into evil intentionally.
The Muslims are going crazy in the Muslim world. Why don’t they just take pictures of these gals, hold them up, and say, “Won’t be long”?
I’m not joking. I see some commenters so desperate as a result of feminism that they proclaim that Islam is preferable. It’s not, but I feel a brief flash of sympathy when I see this.
For conservative solutions to be accepted, we must articulate a moral foundation for those solutions. If we don’t, we’re left with arguing about what may or may not be personally expedient for someone at any given time. The fact of the matter is, our founders based this Republic on Judeo-Christian morality. When we ignore it, we wind up fighting against “free stuff for everybody which we take from the faceless rich” without the necessary philosophical weapons like, “Thou shalt not covet.” The problem is, too many conservatives want to be able to bang every coed in sight along with their flat tax. And that will be the ultimate demise of conservatism.
That is very true. Fortunately most people resist it, but not all.
You have a good point there…
It’s a long read, Stacy, but if you can, get a copy of “Everyday Saints” and read the whole thing. It’s author is an Orthodox priest/monk in Russia who was a young monk when the Communists were still in charge. One of its themes is, “there are no coincidences.” It begins with him relating demonic influences that came from what appeared to be simple “games” of seances and the like. At first it was fun, then the voices started telling the players to kill themselves. The Church as always understood that spiritual warfare is ongoing. Thanks to the Bible and Church tradition and teaching, the outcome is not in doubt, but who the casualties are depends on how one uses one’s will. It’s a fascinating read.
The only way I can handle all this feminist craziness is to recognize the reality of feminism’s evil.
If you’re replying to me, I’m not our host. Unfortunate use of initials.
Person engages in destructive behaviors, ignores warnings about it, and winds up destroyed. /Amazing/ how that works.
Now the lesbian witch wants disability, so that taxpayers will pay for her to stay home and peddle her lesbian witchcraft on the Internet.
Did the tarot cards and Witchery cause the dysfunctions? Or was she dysfunctional to begin with, and got into occultism because it promised power, sex, and riches for zero effort?
You hear OWS hippies screaming “We’re the 99%!” all the time. But you never hear homosexuals yelling “We’re the 1.5%!” at their weirdo pride parades. I wonder why.
I have never known anyone who fooled with tarot cards and the Occult that wasn’t either crazy, physically ill or both.
The longer they are immersed in that milieu the more they will come to hate God
You can’t tell me you’re surprised. 😛
That goes for all versions of Leftism.
Well, Islam is in the Service Of Evil.
Most Pagans and wiccans I knew never could hold a job.
It’s a chicken and egg conundrum
Ah, the chicken-and-the-egg question!
I’m honestly ambiguous about this. You would have to do an in-depth sociological/psychological case study of somebody like this to be able to do more than speculate about the underlying causes of her numerous problems. All we can do is to note the correlation of these phenomenon and compare this case to other cases, e.g.:
“As a genderqueer person of color from an immigrant family, she is committed to intersectional feminism that is focused on personal and social liberation for everyone.”
Here’s another case:
“Kaylee Jakubowski is a Contributing Writer and Online Community Manager for Everyday Feminism. She is a trans, queer feminist who prides herself on being an educator on issues of queerness and gender. She is in her last semester at Winona State University in Minnesota pursuing a B.S. in Statistics with a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies. She is also in the process of writing a book that will formally organize and explain gender philosophies within the trans community.”
Now, if I had a nickel for every feminist whose biography includes treatment for depression, I’d have a lot of nickles, but here’s one example:
“Denton, who was openly lesbian, resided part-time in downtown San Francisco with her partner of more than ten years, Gretchen Kalonji, a professor of materials science. On June 24, 2006, one day following Denton’s discharge from the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute where she had been treated for depression, she leapt 33 stories to her death from The Paramount, a high-rise in which she shared an apartment with Kalonji.”
Another example:
“”I wasn’t diagnosed with an eating disorder until after I was hospitalized at 15. I was dealing with trauma at home and I had severe social and generalized anxiety as well as depression. …
“I developed body dysmorphia as early as 11 years old and felt painfully uncomfortable in my own skin. …
“When I was diagnosed at age 15 I don’t think any of us took the diagnosis very seriously, because my other mental health issues felt like more of an immediate threat (I was suicidal at the time).”
Now, whenever a feminist talks about her mental health problems, she blames this on the rampant misogyny of our patriarchal society, and whenever a lesbian discusses her mental health problems, she blames this on the rampant homophobia of our patriarchal society.
Perhaps you see a pattern here.
My theory about this involves two observations (1) not all women are lesbian feminists, and (2) not all women suffer from mental illness. So if we could study the normal women who are not mentally ill, and compare them to the crazy lesbian feminists, perhaps we could isolate the determining factors. Personally, I think Satan may be a factor, but that’s just a hunch.
You can fool with them and emerge unscathed, but more aware of the power of Evil seductions, if your Will is strong enough. I used the Crowley Deck and learned a lot about how Evil works.
Jeanette, is there a way I can send you a longer personal message via email or a social media site? I’ve followed some of your posts here on TOM re: witchcraft and occultism, and I’d like to ask you some questions if I could. (I’m a fiction author and have been doing some research, and I’d really like your perspective.)
Sorry for the off-topic post.
I’ve worked with tons of pagans and wiccans. For the most part normal but for the “look at my alternative religion” stance but there were a few crazies.
What’s fascinating is that the “New Age” types who dabble in this stuff or immerse themselves in it completely, also seem to be the ones who minimize or deny the very existence of God.
Really?
Then with whom or what are you cavorting with the Ouija board or Tarot? These types spend a lot of time denouncing the evil they see in the world with nary a thought as to where that evil originates.
We, of course, cannot diagnose this troubled person or determine the root cause of her (?) problems, BUT I can say with a degree of certainty that a colonoscopy won’t reveal anything!
“The longer they are immersed in that milieu the more they will come to hate God”
Stories about witchcraft, magic, monsters — e.g., Harry Potter series, the Twilight series — are so common in popular culture that many parents just take “that milieu” for granted and fail to realize the dangers. Not all kids are equally vulnerable, but so often we see otherwise privileged young people slide into that culture and become truly dangerous people. The Columbine massacre was perpetrated by two middle-class misfits who go involved in “that milieu,” but very few people seem to connect all the dots and see the full pattern.
Sure I’m on facebook jeanette.victoria
Feminism is cannibalizing itself. A fancy women’s college just banned THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES because it’s “trans-exclusionary.”
Won’t be long.
“I’ve worked with tons of pagans and wiccans.”
Can I ask (a) where you live and (b) what career field you work in?
Because I’d guess you live on the West Coast and that you work in academia or a technology-related field. This is a general pattern I notice: Paganism seems to be huge in the tech sector, and the West Coast is crawling with these Wicca freaks, especially in the Seattle and San Francisco areas. I know this stuff is everywhere nowadays, but when you say “tons of pagans and wiccans,” I think: CALIFORNIA!
Having been in the forefront of the neo-Pagan movement since the 70’s and known personally all the big mover and shakers I will have to disagree. They were mostly intoler liberal who what some pretty loony idea about the real world. a lot had some form of mental illness. Many were sexual predators Oh and yes most of us were in California
Sent a message – please check your “Other” folder. Thanks!
The left always devours itself
You know most pagans I knew would not touch the Ouija board
Too evil even for them?
MN, where you don’t expect pagans but where they are. Neither academia nor technology-related, although I know pagans in both fields and ones in Seattle and throughout CA.
replied 🙂
Thanks! (Deleting my off-topic posts here.)
The only sane normal conservative pagan I know is a retired Lt colonel from the Air Force. He was the only I knew who could hold a well paying steady job as well
When I saw “retired Lt colonel” I thought of Michael Aquino, of the Temple of Set. But he was Army, and technically a Satanist rather than a neo-Pagan.
Yeah I know him too, but he is weird although he is politically conservative as well.
I have observed if the pagan is conservative it seem to ameliorate the worst effect of neo-paganism, wicca and the occult
Yep. Some of the biggest opponents of “channeling” and similar practices have been the Theosophists, who for whatever their other drawback, have been long aware what kind of ugly entities can sneak into this plane through a Ouija board or a seance.
Way to open no protection from unwanted spirits
Aside: “Robin” posted blasphemy and desecrated Scriptures which many of us here believe to be the inspired Word of God. Yet, here we 30 plus comments in, and no one has called for her to be murdered. My guess is that some of us have already prayed for her tortured soul.
Fancy that.
They must have been quickly deleted, because I don’t see them here.
I feel sorry for people like that more than anything else. The last thing I’d want is for harm to come to them.
Yep. I know of stories from people I trust about those things to ever be knowingly within 50 feet of one.
Boston, Southern Maine too…
As I just learned the other day you can’t delete a post but only remove your name from it. You can however edit them down to one character.
Their name is Legion. http://biblehub.com/luke/8-30.htm
FYI one of my twitter stalkers Katie Murphy claims to be a shaman who has visions about the future and thinks her dog can communicate with ghosts.
In NC too
