Last week, in a post called “Feminism’s Big Lie,” I wrote:
Satan is the Father of Lies (John 8:43-45). Satan is the false accuser (Revelation 12:9-11). Satan constantly tells us lies about ourselves and lies about God. If you listen to that satanic voice, you will drive yourself crazy, because the lies are contradictory. Satan will tell you whatever you want to believe, whatever it takes to destroy you. Satan will tell you that your sins are so wicked that God cannot possibly love you. Then Satan will tell you there is no such thing as sin. Satan will tell you that good is evil, and evil is good, and that you should do evil because that will make you happier than doing good. Most of all, Satan tells us to reject God’s law, to instead make our own judgment of right and wrong.
This was the original lie of history: “Ye shall be as gods!”
That was controversial, because a lot of conservatives online aren’t religious, and also because it is widely assumed — without much evidence, actually — that overt appeals to biblical authority are bad for the Republican Party. Political experts tell us that young voters are alienated by expressions of Christian conservatism, and so we should just shut up about all that Bible stuff. My hunch is that the political experts, as usual, are wrong. And also, Satan is real.
Would you like to see evidence of metaphysical evil? In February 2014, a “genderqueer” woman posted this on Tumblr.com:
Recently my grandmother found out I’m queer. Her response was to tell me that she disapproves of me living with my “friend” (i.e. my girlfriend) and that I should give up my vile queer ways and become a Christian (Lol). She even sent me a bible. Here are its remains, which I made into black-out poetry.
Her “black-out poetry” consisted of using neon highlighter on some words, and using black marker to obliterate the rest. She transcribes her poetic creations, one of which is this:
Fisting (from Judges 8:5) — “water/ lap the water/ drink/go down to drink/your hands/go down/I give into your hands/go down/encouraged/down/on the seashore/the whole hand/your hand/inside/I get to the edge/and shout/grasping/crying out/Beth/Beth/Beth/Beth/Beth/God/I came”
You can click here to see a photo of that blasphemous “poem.” (Having consulted my Bible, I realize that the passage she uses actually begins with Judges 7.) Can you imagine the insane hatred inside this woman, that she would take a Bible — a gift from her own grandmother! — and make it into such a heinously abusive celebration of degeneracy?
Do you think that people this crazy and hateful are not also in the grasp of a frightening evil? What kind of person do you think would act this way? Nine months later, the same person posted this:
Please help me pay for my
medical expenses and diagnoses!
Hello! My name is Robin. I am 25 years old, queer, and non-binary. Because of my disabilities and mental illnesses, I have been unable to work since March of 2014. Back when I was working, I was only able to work part-time, for minimum wage, at extreme cost to my mental and physical health. This has led me to seek medical treatment, as well as official diagnoses for my illnesses and disabilities so that I may apply for disability income (also known as Social Security Income, or SSI).
My disabilities and illnesses include: I am on the Autism Spectrum. I also have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression (including mania and dissociative symptoms), generalized anxiety, joint pain that makes bending, walking, and standing for long periods of time difficult, and fatigue. I have been having to see a gastroenterologist for digestive issues and pain that have lasted several months now. He recommended a colonoscopy that is well out of my budget.
My partner is currently helping with my living costs, but she cannot continue doing so indefinitely and cannot assist much with my medical expenses. . . .
Once my physical health is taken care of, I will seek treatment and official diagnoses for my mental illnesses and for Autism. These diagnoses by medical professionals are required for me to apply to SSI. If I were to be accepted, it would greatly relieve our financial burdens and stress. It would allow me more stability while I try to recover from my mental illnesses and physical health issues.
Robin the Disabled Mentally Ill Nonbinary Queer has useful skills!
In exchange for helping me out, please allow me to do Tarot readings for you! I have been reading Tarot for myself for five years and for others for one year. . . .
I currently have the World Spirit Tarot, the Shadowscapes Tarot, the Romance Angels Oracle, and the Angel Therapy Oracle. If you have a preference which deck or spread I use, please let me know. Otherwise, I will pick the one most suited to your question.
So, five years ago, she began doing tarot card readings, and by November 2014 she’s so sick and crazy she’s soliciting donations to help her get diagnosed to be eligible for federal disability payments. Maybe you think this is all just a coincidence, that Robin’s mental illness and her sexual perversion are unrelated to her blasphemous hatred of God and her dabbling in the occult. Maybe I’m just an ignorant hillbilly Bible-thumper for suspecting that Robin’s misfortunes are not entirely coincidental.
Perhaps you’d care to check out Robin’s witchcraft Tumblr site?
I’m reminded of what Pat Robertson said more than 20 years ago:
I keep telling you people: Every single word of that is true.
“There are no Christian feminists, because feminism is a sort of narcissistic idolatry, wherein women deny God and instead worship themselves as their own divinity.”
— Robert Stacy McCain, Dec. 17

Only here…
On my poor site, I have a separate category, “Karmic Justice.” Seems to me that this would fit in there, very well.
The sad part of this story is that while my best friend has Stage 3 COPD, he has been denied eligibility for Social Security disability, despite having worked his whole life, paying into Social Security, while this sweet young thing, who hasn’t paid in much, will probably get it and be supported by working taxpayers for decades.
The problem with that is your control groups: you’d need to divide lesbian feminists who are not mentally ill from those who are, and the former might not be a large enough group to enable distinctions to be taken.
The question first has to be: are there any lesbian feminists who are not mentally ill, and the answer is no, because lesbianism is, in itself, a mental illness.
That being the case, the next group for which you must seek is heterosexual feminists, to determine what percentage of them are mentally ill, and differentiate that from just plain normal women; if there is a significant difference, we can establish a correlation between feminism and mental illness, completely apart from abnormal sexuality.
I believe in Satan, but I don’t believe in ghosts, vampires or werewolves.
Amen.
This occult stuff seems creepy and dangerous even to an irreverent and irreligious smartass such as Yours Truly!
And those feminists who are not mad (and lesbians) would be the merely dangerous ones?
Touché!
ALEISTER Crowley? “Cripes”, indeed!
If people are “mentally ill” but don’t channel that into sociopathy and live and let live, what does it matter? And does the passive aggressive behavior of Anita Sakeesian and Marcotte translate into mental illness? Are they cold-hearted, wounded humans? I don’t have the answers.
During a ferocious blizzard that had started while we were running errands in a midwestern city, our brakelines broke. We had no brakes. We got back by opening the doors when necessary and using our feet to stop Fred Flintstone-style.
She isn’t getting SSDI she is getting SSI which is a form of welfare. Tell your friend to hire a lawyer almost everyone get denied the first time.
You left out Christians as well
Your forgot about the Jinn read ???? ?????, the 72nd sura of the Quran
According to Islamic scholars, “The Jinni enters the one seized by fits and causes him to speak incomprehensible words, unknown to himself; if the one seized by fits is struck a blow sufficient to kill a camel, he does not feel it.” (Shaikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah, Majmoo al-Fatawa.)
There reality is Muslims are far MORE superstitious than Christians. There is a lot of witch burning going in Islamic countries http://www.frontpagemag.com/2012/dgreenfield/muslim-witch-hunts/
Not to be a wise guy [although I am of half-Italian descent], but: the layer of cells the envelope the intestines are of the same composition as brain cells, so…
For a lot of people it doesn’t end when the book is closed or the deck put back in it’s box.
Even someone like myself, who resisted the seductions carried away with me the presence of Evil. It tried to encompass me many times, but my strong belief in God, which really never wavered, helped save me from it’s clutches.
I still have some of Regardie’s and Crowley’s works in an obscure corner of my book collection.
Interesting mind IR had.
I don’t either, but I do believe in what Hamlet/Shakespeare said:
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
– Hamlet (Act I, Scene V:167-8)
Good to know?
I don’t know whether witchcraft, magic, and monsters are harmful in all cases – I’m still deciding.
Would that Russell Kirk had lived so that we could have heard his opinion on such things as the Harry Potter novels [he is rather famous for his Gothic ghost stories].
The second worst: try reading the ‘prose’ of the Fifty Shades dame.
He was an odd duck didn’t believe in marriage so he refused to come to my wedding. He made up with Louis T. Culling in the end, and was about the only person besides my husband and myself who visited him while Louie was sick and dying in the Long Beach VA
That is SO true
That last paragraph is damn well put, except for the part about nuns being ‘pretty far out there’. The ones I dealt with in CCD class were stern, but not abnormal in any way.
I have great admiration for all nuns, except for those who stop being Brides Of Christ and wed themselves to the false god of Ideology.
‘Moderate Muslims are not terrorists!’
They may not all currently be terrorists, but they all have the potential to be terrorists because their ‘Bible’, their commanding book, demands that all Muslims take-up Jihad — it’s just a matter of when and if they will be called to choose between Islam and the rest of the World.
And these crazies have become as that swine.
I remain open to the possibility of ghosts. If we are/have souls/spirits it seems plausible that some remain ”stuck” here for one reason or another.
I rather think of you as a Boudica Of Truth.
I wouldn’t place Harry Potter in the same milieu as Twilight.
Holy moley, Stacy! 122 comments! You trying to break Disqus? 🙂
Also, excellent post, with one of the most informative comment threads I have ever read! Thanks to all of you!
Just for the Muppets and Tim Curry eating the scenery alive there.

More crazy & evil. They blocked traffic = ambulances. Blocking traffic KILLS.
You’d think that the SJWs would at least try to keep a normal weight.
Or perhaps as white people they think that being obese will hasten them to the grave? AFter all, they don’t deserve to live.
“Is it too early to start an Anti-Defamation League to seek relief from these non-stop diatribes and hate speech against men, whites and heterosexuals?”
Why don’t you start it? I don’t understand people who put comments like this on websites and do nothing.
Also the words “should” and “ought to” are expressions of personal futility.
From ACE’s open thread.
— Moe Lane on freeway protestors
Now, I want to make sure that my point is very, very clear, because after all I am trying to explain things to people who think that it’s smart to play in traffic. So here we go: society values beloved grandfathers over Lefty protesters. So when it’s a choice between an example of the former needing to be rushed to the hospital after a horrible car accident, and examples of the latter risking horrible car accidents, society’s default sympathy is going to be with the grandfather.
And this is not casual, either: the EMTs could have gotten out of the ambulance this morning and cleared a path with their defibrillators and society would have nodded solemnly and murmured It’s a shame that it had to come to
that.
Do you have a link, Adobe?
Adam Lanza was mentally ill, and he was living and letting live, right up until he didn’t.

Now isn’t that odd I’ve been called Boudica a few times
I lived in a convent for awhile and really loved it. But there is always a hard ass sister.
“Actual witchcraft” is pretty much invented out of whole cloth.
LaTeX? Wow, I used to use TeX for my resume, but that was over 10 years ago since I finally switched to stupid old Word format.
Ditto. While there are bad apples in every barrel, what’s not to respect and admire in a group of people who devote their lives to peacefully serving God and their fellow man?
Thanks.
I had one for a CCD Teacher. Interestingly, she was the only good-looking one of the bunch.
“because after all I am trying to explain things to people who think that it’s smart to play in traffic.”
You can’t explain anything to such people. What is the point of this useless babbling?
You arrest them and charge them with attempted murder. Felony rap.
Today wicca/witchcraft as practiced by today’s narcissistic ne’er do wells who use mythology, movies and SciFi books to invent “rituals” and new traditions. In my book that is no different than Harry Potter
Did you understand what he was writing?
“”because after all I am trying to explain things to people who think that it’s smart to play in traffic.”
I think I understood that pretty well. But maybe I didn’t. Can you explain it to me?
I wouldn’t be so quick at the do nothing part. “We” is asking if others would join, not that I have done nothing. In fact you’ll meet few people in America as on top of this as I am. Only a year ago I was being laughed at for using words like “intersectional” by the very people who now routinely accept that. My critiques of that far precede a year ago.
I was probably less than clear. I meant how that has percolated into Islamic pop culture, e.g., ghost stories. They are definitely there a long time ago but not in a pop genre form today. I confess I don’t know why. It may be deemed blasphemous on some level but who knows. The point stands. There is no horror genre in Egyptian film. In America, how many are there; 4,000? I couldn’t even venture a guess.
