Lesbian Teacher Pleads Guilty to Criminal Sexual Conduct With Teenage Girl

WZZM-TV, Grand Rapids, Michigan:

A former Grant High School science teacher has pleaded guilty to having inappropriate sexual contact with a female student with whom she exchanged about 14,000 text messages during a four-week period last fall.
Erin Katharine MacDonald, 26, pleaded guilty to two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct with the female student. In exchange for the plea, four additional charges were dismissed. . . . MacDonald faces up to two years in prison when she is sentenced in Newaygo County Circuit Court on May 4. . . .
According to court documents, the girl told her parents she was going to the movies with a friend the week before Thanksgiving. That evening, the girl’s parents unexpectedly came across their daughter’s car at a park and ride lot near the junction of M-37 and M-46. The father waited for his daughter to return to the car and watched as MacDonald dropped the girl off . . .
Once home, the father took his daughter’s cell phone and car keys. He then gave the cell phone to Grant High School Principal Dan Simon, signing a release that allowed the district to examine the cell phone.
“It was discovered there were approximately 14,000 texts between Erin MacDonald and (the victim) from Oct. 25 until Nov. 21,” Newaygo County Sheriff’s Deputy Phillip Green wrote in a search warrant affidavit. . . .
On Nov. 26, Green interviewed the girl about the relationship. She disclosed there was “an emotional and intimate relationship between the two which included sexual conduct in nature,” the search warrant affidavit states. . . .

Let’s see: 14,000 messages in 28 days? That’s 500 messages a day or — subtracting 8 hours a night for sleep, leaving 16 hours for daily texting — about 31 messages per hour. One wonders how either of them ever found time to do anything else except, you know, the “anything else” called criminal sexual misconduct. (Hat-tip: Kirby McCain on Twitter.)

Meghan Colleen Dougherty

  • Meghan Colleen Daugherty, 36, was charged last month with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in South Carolina. The arrest warrant said the Hillcrest Middle School physical education teacher committed sexual battery on a 14-year-old girl.

Geraldine Alcorn

  • Geraldine Alcorn, 28, was arrested last month in Pittsburgh after police say she became obsessed with an 11-year-old student at Beechwood Elementary School, where Alcorn was a pre-kindergarten teacher. Alcorn took the student ice skating and later lured the 11-year-old girl to her house. Police say Alcorn and the girl exchanged more than 2,000 text messages and had discussed running away together.

Shakyla Wislon

  • Shakyla Wilson, 22, was charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse after police in Naperville, Illinois, say she had sexual contact in February with a 14-year-old girl from Hill Middle School, where Wilson was volunteering as a girls basketball coach.
  • An unnamed math teacher resigned from New Braunfels Christian Academy in February amid a police investigation after allegations surfaced that she had ongoing inappropriate sexual relations with a former female student.
  • Dione Thompson, 45, was charged in February for having sex with a teenage girl she met while serving as a school resource officer in Bothell, Washington.

Michelle Smith White

  • High school dance teacher Michelle Smith White, 37, of Durham, N.C., was charged in October with having sex with a 16-year-old female student. Police said White had the student’s name and initials tattooed on her body.

Sabrina Epps.

  • Dance teacher Sabrina Epps, 19, was arrested in October after police say she admitted having lesbian sex with a 14-year-old girl who was a student at the Tennessee studio where Epps taught.

Gaile Christine Supp

  • Gaile Supp, 25, pleaded guilty in September to sexual battery, a third-degree felony. A former teacher at Clearfield High School in Utah, Supp had originally been charged with object rape, a first-degree felony, in April 2013 for allegedly committing a sexual act on an unwilling 17-year-old female student at her West Haven home.

Rebecca Diebolt

  • California teacher Rebecca Eileen Diebolt, 35, was arrested in June after a woman told police that she and Diebolt had a four-year sexual relationship that began in 2004, when the victim was 15 and Diebolt was her language arts teacher and swim/water polo coach.

Nichol Marie Phelps

  • Dance teacher Nichol Marie Phelps, 30, was sentenced to prison in June after she pleaded guilty to having lesbian sex with a 15-year-old student at the Florida academy where Phelps taught.

Pattern? What pattern? I don’t see a pattern.

  5. Even if this wasn’t a sensational report about sordid deviant lesbian sex with age and power disparities, I’d still think that 14000 texts in 4 weeks represented a serious problem.

    I read just the other day that a State Rep. from Detroit wants all home schooled students registered “for they’re own protection’
    I commented that she ought worry more about protecting school students from lesbian teacher predation.
    And now this.

  8. I actually assumed 16/7. That works out to 31.25 text messages per hour, or roughly 1 every 2 minutes, every waking minute for a month, between them.

    (Contrast that with the fact that I send roughly 14 text messages in a year, all of them to rag on a family member.)

    That crazy woman should get extra jail time just for that alone.

  18. There seems to be a rather prominent RAPE CULTURE among female high school teachers. Teach female teachers not to rape!

  20. They have bigger issues, but there are vested interests at stake and emotional investments in ways of doing business that preclude anyone addressing them.

    I’ve long suspected that education is suffused with the sort of administrator who will chase cockroaches around the perimeter of a room but ignore the huge defecating elephant at the center of the room.

    An obviously deranged Detroit morherywho was homeschooling her children killed two of them, approximately 9mos. apart.
    A state Representative from Detroit thinks that the state failed the children and so purposes to make certain this never happens again by requiring homeschooled children to be registered with the state and visited by a social worker a couple of times a year.

    Makes sense right? Of course it was the homeschooling that allowed the deaths to occur because if a Detroit social worker had visited the home prior then none of this would ever have happened.

    As Daniel said, these leftists want to keep track of their property while the biological units that brought them into the world feed, house and clothe them.

    I meant the area where I’m from dealing with rapist educators. Vero Beach Florida to be exact.
    Lots of sexually deviant educators down there.
