Men ‘Calling Yourself Feminist Is Invading a Movement That Was Not Made for You’

Feminist Tumblr makes explicit the movement’s anti-male ideology:

Feminism as a movement is not about prioritizing the feelings of cis men as above or equal to our own. You are welcome to be an ally for us. But calling yourself feminist is invading a movement that was not made for you and in which your voice is not necessary and often not wanted. It is male privilege to think you are entitled to join and gain a title in any club, group or movement you want. I’ve noticed that cis men who insist on being called “feminists” rather than “feminist allies” put their own feelings and need for legitimacy/validation above the actual goals and priorities of feminism. Feminist can be used as an adjective/descriptive term for men, like “I met a guy who seemed very feminist.” Or “He has some strong feminist beliefs”. A man could say “I believe in feminism”. But to adopt the title of feminist is appropriation of a movement that has been built on and by the suffering of women and other people who experience gender-based oppression. Basically, if a man says he’s a feminist and, when asked by us to call himself a “feminist ally” instead, he refuses, he proves that he doesn’t actually care about women or our needs and feelings, and he has no right to be involved in feminism in any way.

Radical equality requires the negation of liberty, because only the oppressed have rights, and their oppressors have none. The feminist worldview requires that any apparent inequality between males and females must be condemned as injustice. All men are members of the oppressor class, benefiting from and participating in the victimization of women (all women) under a system of male supremacy. To speak of men’s “rights,” according to feminist ideology, is to justify inequality, and to assert that women deserve to be treated as inferior.

This is feminism’s formula for insanity, a totalitarian theory that denies the reality of sexual difference and seeks evidence of patriarchal oppression in every individual decision (because “the personal is political”). Once this principle of Feminist Consciousness is grasped, we see why The First Rule of Feminism is SHUT UP!

Feminism means men have nothing to say, because men have no valid knowledge. Whatever a man believes is wrong, whatever a man does is oppressive, and anything a man says is sexist. Therefore, SHUT UP!

It is especially important that feminists should be empowered to insult men, and to ridicule men who resent such insults:

No white guy ever: See this is okay because she has a right to express herself under free speech. Plus if I can’t laugh at myself, who CAN I laugh at? Also I’m sure she was just kidding and doesn’t really believe that, I should give her the benefit of the doubt.

You see how her chip-on-the-shoulder resentments are expressed as an ostentatiously “clever” reversal: Feminists are accused of being over-sensitive and humorless, and so therefore — har-de-har-har — the joke is on you, “white guy,” whom she accuses of being too stupid to “get” her cleverness, so that you don’t even know whether she’s “just kidding” or whether she “really believes” the hateful things she says about you.

You know who excels at this kind of manipulation, smokescreening, gaslighting and psychological projection? Narcissistic sociopaths.

“Misandry Mermaid,” as she calls herself, is a warped and sadistic personality who derives perverse pleasure from imagining the humiliation and mental pain she endeavors to inflict on males. Men deserve this humiliation, the feminist believes, because men are her inferiors and have unjustly refused to recognize her superiority. The man who refuses to kneel before her in worshipful adoration has deprived her of what is rightly hers, and the man who dares speak in his own defense thereby proves himself a misogynist, by justifying his existence, which oppresses her. Any cruelty the feminist inflicts on a man is social justice, and he cannot be permitted to say a word in reply.

Most people cannot understand Feminist Logic™ because it is so difficult to imagine hating anyone as much as feminists hate men.

    Oh the hypocrisy….it burns.

    The feminist movement has spent the last fifty years forcing men to allow women to join clubs and organizations that had been created by men many times precisely so they could spend time away from women. Anytime a man seeks to start a men’s only gym or organization he is attacked, by the SJW and the government. But women only gyms and organizations are fine.

    Now they want to claim an ideology is female only.

    If we give them feminism, can we get poker night back?

    It’s another in the examples of the “authenticity gambit” used to refuse to engage members of the nominally “oppressed” class or group who oppose the group’s agenda. We saw the same thing when organizers of Ferguson protests told white people to stay away. The sole purpose of this appeal to “authenticity,” a variant of the “No True Scotsman” fallacy is to insulate the speaker from having to confront the falsity of his own assertions.

  21. My question is when do we move beyond rhetoric and into direct action? At what point to men finally stand up and start getting literally in feminists faces and shouting them down? When will men finally start using the tactics of the feminist and get feminists fired from their jobs? Suing frivilously in court over “sexual harrassment”, etc..

    When will men start assaulting feminist rallies by the dozens and just barging their way past the door guards and into their rallies and shouting down the speakers? When will men throw urine, feces, coal dust, glitter, etc onto feminist politicians?

    I’m tired of TALK. I want to literally see my political enemies, such as these feminists, crushed under my boot heel. I just wish thee was ONE group I could join that was willing to get out there into the real world and fight the battles for real and actually get physical with these “women”.

    When a group of MRA’s get together for a meeting. The feminists harrass the venue and get the event cancelled. If the event isn’t cancelled, they invade it and shout down the speakers. When can WE do stuff like that??

  23. It wouldn’t work. We’re biologically primed to protect women over men. Hence seeing a man attack a woman is only ever going to make most people turn against the man, whereas seeing a woman attack a man will elicit much less indignation.

  38. I say good. Let their own creepy ideology crumble before their very eyes. Let them reject every single group they want to, when they do that, they make more enemies which is a positive thing. This movement can hide behind all the white, rich, liberals it wants to, we know the truth.

    1. All that is necessary to defeat feminism is to tell the truth about feminism.
    2. A calm and determined opposition — refusing to be bullied into acquiescence while patiently denying feminism’s absurd claims of “oppression” — will suffice as anti-feminist activism.
    3. Insofar as it is within your power, withdraw emotional and financial support from feminism. For example, never speak a word of support (or voluntarily give a dime) for the government “education” system, which is wholly controlled by feminists (and the political Left generally). Get your own kids out of public schools and discourage other parents to do the same. Teach your children to work hard, live cheap and save their money, so that they will not be forced into dependence on the government social-welfare bureaucracy, which is anti-family, anti-marriage and anti-male in its organizational ideology.

    Personal success and independence are antithetical to the collectivist principles of radical egalitarianism. Therefore be as independent as possible and encourage your children to cherish their own independence.

  40. It’s amazing how much that sneering hate speech parrots the rhetoric of the SFF community. The more they sneer, whine and have mental breakdowns over nothing the more they give them awards and support. It’s one of the most astonishing community-wide lapses of judgment I’ve ever seen.

I made that joke in college in the ’90s, and a foreign exchange student from a wealthy part of Mexico said that he used to think it was funny, until a guy friend of his actually went ahead and made the changes to present himself as a lesbian, and a very pretty one at that. So it was already serious twenty years ago to people with money.

  49. I don’t think you can use overt violence, because the audience (America) would turn on you. Still, I’m a firm believer in the moral correctness in exacting a price for bad behavior.

    I would make sure to film any disruptions, and then find out the support structure of the opposition. Expose them publicly and make it very uncomfortable to be one of their supporters.
