The headline number? What @Jack has lost for @Twitter investors:

Twitter has lost over $2bn (£1.4bn) since the social network was first launched 10 years ago, with $1.6bn of the deficit happening since it went public two years ago.
According to the Form 10-K annual report filed by Twitter, which gives a comprehensive summary of a company’s financial performance, Twitter’s total accumulated deficit as of 31 December 2015 was $2.09bn, largely due to stock-based compensation awarded to employees.

Basically, Twitter investors have been throwing away $800 million a year since 2014 paying Jack Dorsey and other executives to live large.

Yesterday, I appeared on a podcast with Tami Jackson and Jeff Dunetz.

Dan Gainor reports at FoxNews.com:

Twitter unverified Breitbart technology editor Milo Yiannopoulos’s account in January and ignored repeated requests to reinstate it.
It was a shot across the bow of the conservative movement.
Popular blogger Robert Stacy McCain was suspended and then kicked off of Twitter for the vague thought crime of “violating the Twitter Rules.” The hashtag“#FreeStacy” trended for a while on Twitter. Even his book account was shut down.
Conservative actor Adam Baldwin called to “disband the ‘Trust and Safety’ Council,” and said he was quitting Twitter. Baldwin, who starred in the cult classic “Firefly” and the current apocalyptic drama “The Last Ship,” has been one of Hollywood’s more visible conservatives. And now Sci-fi author Larry Correia all-but shut his account down in sympathy.
Conservative blogger Ace of Spades declared: “I no longer use Twitter except to exploit it as a promotional tool. It’s for ads only. Censorship is the art of idiots, cowards, and thugs.”
Somehow new Twitter CEO claims, “Twitter stands for freedom of expression.” Really?

Twitter is hove-to, trying to ride out the publicity shit-storm. It might work, except for one simple fact: ultimately, the SWJs will begin to eat their own. When they start running afoul of the Feminist Propaganda Ministry, we may see a change. It will probably be too late, however, inasmuch as there’s still a lot of (paper) value yet to be lost by the shareholders.

Evidently, Twitter’s shareholders don’t mind bleeding cash. They’ve all seen this chart before, and obviously don’t care.

Twitter’s total accumulated deficit as of 31 December 2015 was $2.09bn, largely due to stock-based compensation awarded to employees.

So essentially the employees are plundering the shareholders. The employees get grants of stock which they then sell. That dilutes the ownership of the shareholders.

I get that stock options are popular in Silicon Valley. This one smells.

Oh, the institutional investors mind a lot. Revenues have increased almost ten times in five years, but the stock is in the dumper. The 10-K says hopes for any sort of dividend in the future are misguided. Return on investment will be limited to gains on stock sales, which stock value is going down. I bet there will be a slow but steady sell-off among the institutions, which will depress the price further. It’s not pretty now, but in twelve months it could be real, real ugly.

I started dismissing ads and replying to ad owners about it and suddenly I got no more ads in my timeline. Curious.

That’s what I originally thought, and as recently as a few days ago.

But then…follow along with me here, because it’s convoluted (which I’m permitted, on account of being a woman)…I was reading blog comments on LinkedIn. Which I normally loathe, but I’m out of work, so I need to suck up to some people.

During my decades-long corporate tenure, the vast, vast majority of wage earners were conservative, and specifically, anti-tax conservatives, on account of our bi-weekly government raping.

But NOW…now I’m seeing the vast majority of commenters are SJWs to one degree or another. I see lots of comments about what a great and effective leader Barry has been, what with lowering the deficit, increasing the jobs base, and other lies that would literally gag a maggot. This was no joke. These idiots believed this stuff. And these commenters were not new grads by far, but people I’d judge to be >40. In other words, old enough to know better.

Now…could it be that only morons are commenting on LinkedIn? Sure. Could it be that LinkedIn is filtering comments? Sure. Could it be that conservatives are choosing not to comment, rather than risk their potential job market (as is the case with me)? Sure.

But from what I’ve seen there, heard while I’m talking to people about jobs, seen on other social media, and heard from the lips of Trump supporters, I’m now convinced that literally the inmates are running the asylum, at both a corporate and economic level. And they greatly outnumber the sane people.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think that I am. We are seriously doomed.

There was at one time a Chamber of Culture established which targeted the politically unreliable and which also indulged in filthy racial rhetoric. After it had been bombed out of existence Orwell warned such a thing could rise again with a different and trusted face. What’s the difference between a horror of racial diversity and a horror of too many of a race in one place? There is no difference. By abandoning the principles which allow such simple comparisons, we have allowed ourselves to fall prey to what Orwell warned about.

A few years back John MacArthur preached at the National Prayer Breakfast that God had abandoned the US. I think he nailed it.
Clinton was judgment. Bush II was judgment. Obama was judgment. and Trump, if elected will be judgment.

When a country turns away from God, there is only one direction in which its progress will be measures – downward.
