One of the things that happened after the World Series was that a bunch of free agents moved to different teams, and one of them was 2022 Cy Young Winner Justin Verlander., who signed a two-year $86 million deal with the Mets. This will give his lovely wife Kate more opportunities to trash talk the Philadelphia Phillies fans, which she apparently enjoyed doing during the World Series.
