Well, at least we won the opener. The 1974 Senators began the season on the road against the Red Sox in Fenway Park, and Jim Kaat went the distance for a 7-2 win in the opener, but neither Carl Morton nor Steve Renko could hold the BoSox bats in check in games 2 and 3, which were close losses- but a loss is still a loss. We face the Royals this Tuesday.
