It was a good week to be a Senators fan. First we swept the A’s (again), this time at Oakland; then we went to Cleveland and lost two out of three, but Game 1 was close until Roger Nelson blew the save, and Game Three wasn’t even close: we pounded Steve Busby for eight runs while Jim Kaat held the Tribe to one run on five hits. So that meant we were 4-2 on the week and are now tied with the Brewers at 17-25, eight games behind the Red Sox, who we’ll be playing Tuesday at Fenway.
