Regarding the POTUS, we can expect exactly 0 substantial reflection, course alteration, or improvement in the political atmosphere between now and November, emphasis mine:

Whatever the case, the next seven months going into November are going to be about domination and attempted marginalization, not cooperation. He’ll seek to paint the GOP as obstructionist, which, btw, is how the GOP beat Daschle in 2004. I came upon that in looking at opposition to Reid versus Daschle, the only Senate leader to lose his seat since 1952. If the GOP caves, their base will abandon them, resulting in disaster in the fall. At the same time, the people can not afford to stand down, either, as the GOP’s minority status leaves them toothless without our many voices behind them. And no matter what, the months ahead are going to be long, hard and increasingly confrontational politically.

Actually, Dan has it backwards: We The People cannot expect to delegate the preservation of the Republic to the GOP.

We The People have to follow and draw attention to the Tea Party Express, the Andrew Breitbarts, and activities like the Tax Day Tea Party to inform the GOP in Congress that there is still a country worth the struggle against fascism.

He counted on America to be Passive. He Counted Wrong.

If we can get Lindsey Graham, John McCain, et al, out of control of the Republican Party, we can still win this one at the Ballot Box.

That’s my primary goal, because if we get more RINOs, and get Socialism Lite from them, it may get to be time for the third box.

I made a comment to my wife, Daddy, and my In-Laws the other day. “If we can’t repeal this Health-Care thing, I’m leaving the Country.”

Everyone immediately wanted to know where I was going!

“Nowhere. Does the word secession mean anything to y’all?”

I’m just barely 30 miles North of the Red, as the crow flies. I figure if it comes to that, I’m in “Greater Texas.”

    Eat that, leftists!

Never thought I would say this, but who can blame Obama? The American media rolled over for him; the American people blindly followed him (and worshiped him as a messiah); and he won a campaign on a bunch of lies.

He’s not counting on all of America to be passive – just the majority, which has proven itself to be lacking in the critical analysis department.

Reagan planned to topple Khadafy until Sen. Leahy found out and warned Khadafy on the front page of the Times.

Oddly, instead of being grateful to Leahy, Khadafy bombed the Pan Am flight over Lockerbie just as Reagan was leaving.

    Thanks, Sen. Leahy.
