Wow, you are almost good enough for a scholarship at Blog Con!

I thought your comments were perfect for a blog gathering.  But given they will not be heard at Blog Con, oh well, a loss for Blog Con participants suckas who pay and attend.

At last, I have heard the voice of the great Stacy McCain.  Nothing like what I expected.  Where’s the hard gravely voice of the veteran journalist?

No matter, your work speaks best of you.  The one thing I can count on from you is the cold, unvarnished truth of the matter as you know it.  Also heavily dosed with sarcasm, and a little dribbling of shameless promotion and perhaps a titillating comment or story.

For now your the outsider with insight, but maybe one day you will be the insider looking for a way out.  Don’t ask me if that is supposed to be good or bad, I have no idea.

Good job – let the young cliquesters who manage the “major” events – they don’t call ’em “cons” for nothing – see what they’re missing.

You’re surely more interesting than most panelists at such events.  But what’s with you guys and the hats indoors?  Are you gangstas?  What would your mothers say?
