In the following scene, the hard-nosed spirit of American Exceptionalism offers a bit of needed calibration to the Tea Partier:

This post may not be for you, but it may be for someone you know. There seems to be a lot of angst these days about this or that candidate, and can they beat #OccupyResoluteDesk in November.

Shag all that.

Barack is a tool. By which I mean: no one political figure is the problem. BHO, in particular, is not worthy of your emotion. The real problem, in 2012 and beyond, is the crying attitude in the clip above. Progressivism has been a government tissue distribution program, intent on reducing Americans to dependent crybabies.
The candidates all suck. Guess what: they’re human. This November is an election, for heaven’s sake, not a soteriological quest. If it seems like the President is that important, this over-importance itself is the issue. We sure could use a man like Calvin Coolidge again. But we may need a ‘Patton touch’ to help us find our inner, individual President.
We’ve partied like rock stars, and the hangover follows. I don’t do wallowing in guilt too well. It’s not like I feel personally bad about the realities of the cratered economy. What we have to know, unlike Mitch Daniels, is that the social safety net was never a federal task and has become a mirage. The 10^th Amendment has to be respected, and the states have to pick up the tab. And if you say the states can’t, then you need to ask why. A lucid analysis will help get you past your sobbing soldier scene.
The bad guys laugh when we cry. The Ruling Class hopes for nothing more than the dissipation of the 2010 Tea Party energy. The self-appointed Progressive elite don’t really want you asking too many hahrd questions. They want you moaning in the small child fashion, and looking to DC for your next handout.
A good chunk of the population is too far gone. Just as Moses had to walk through two generations of Israelites in Sinai to weed out the weepers, we are going to have to spend a significant number of election cycles to spare our children a tragic fate:Is that a comfortable realization? No. I would that all Americans were thinking rationally. Empirically, one in five still, unexpectedly, approve of #OccupyResoluteDesk. “They’s some men you just cain’t reach.” But hopefully this post reaches some.

And, no, I am not making some general justification of physical abuse here. Somebody crying little twit is likely to misread this post. I’m saying that, occasionally, we all need a wakeup call.

Don’t know too much on why that particular name was selected.

The overall code name for the reduction of Japan was codename: “Downfall,” which kind of makes sense.

Response in order:

1} Yes, the Pres is a jerk, but he is also a symptom of a much deeper pathology;

2} Yes, again, the candidates are human, and our efforts to hold Santorum and Gingrich to impossible levels of perfection only leaves us more than likely to have to put up with Romney, who is and would be a disaster;

3} A certain level of provision is going to always be provided, this country isn’t going back those days of her founding, that’s just recognizing existing political gravities;

4} Yes, the elites, and our own Republican elites just as much as any, despise us conservatives, absolutely despise us, and most have entered a post-Christian, post-American mindset, which we’re now seeing increasingly spill out openly into the public square, ——————— there’s a lot more of that headed our way; and

5} Yes, a good chunk is already well gone, ———– Black America is captive to a mantra of “keeping it real,” wherein black school children who actually pursue educational excellence get ridiculed and bullied by their peers, the examples of what’s occurring in Black America are too numerous to mention.

Does the base need a wake up call?

Not really.

We’re not the ones trying to ram Romney down the throat of Uncle Sam. That would be the clueless elites.

The Boomers are like a bowling ball moving through an Anaconda. Painful, but soon to enter the colon of history where they can be , alas, shit out. Only then will Recovery become possible.

As I just wrote elsewhere, our quest here is a lot like picking diamonds. When you finally decide to buy one, you don’t just stick your hand in the diamond barrel and take out the first one you can grab. You’ll be wanting a microscope.

This year, the incumbent is like a lump of clay. With feet of. That doesn’t mean we want a lump of clay to fight him with. We have diamonds, but we still want the best one.

After we make our selection, the SCOAMFOTUS still has to run against his own miserable record.

You’re brainwashed Smitty into believing the lie the establishment wants you to peddle. The one that says THEY are our “generals”, in this case, and WE THE PEOPLE are their fucking foot soldiers. No, by God its the other way around, and its up to GENERAL TEA-PARTIER to deliver a resounding slap in the face to the god damn motherfucking cowardly PRIVATE ESTABLISHMENT PUKE RINO.

Anytime they cowardly and cravenly cringe they do so by trying to shirk their duty. They don’t want to fight the god fight, they want to use a cowardly tactic and fall back on a Daniels, or a Jeb Bush, or a Chris Christie. Anytime they do that, we need to slap them in the face, and more. A good hard kick in the ass is what they really need.

I still want to know who decided to give Mitt Romney the prime speaking slot in the form of a “prebuttal” to the SOTU. Who makes these god damn decisions. Fuck this shit, I’m thinking seriously about turning my blog into a pro-Obama blog and blogging and campaigning for him. I can’t take this fucking shit any more.

We can’t. Not as long as the GOP establishment keeps us twisted into all kinds of pretzel shapes to justify supporting gun control freaks like Christie, or other RINOs like Jeb Bush, or Daniels, etc.

Who in the hell does Poppa Bush think he is, endorsing Mitt Romney? Shouldn’t a former President stay above the fray and render his support for whoever the eventual nominee is?

Even more to the point, who in the hell decided it was appropriate to give Mitt Romney such a prime speaking slot as “prebuttal” to the SOTU?

Do you think maybe this was determined way back when there was an assumption that he would have the nomination all sewed up by now? So when was this decided? By who? The RNC? The heads of the major networks? Let’s assume for the sake of argument it wasn’t the Koch Brothers.

More importantly, why in the hell am I the only one asking these questions?

I agree. Let’s forgive Obama for all the evil he’s done, and to demonstrate our forgiveness, we should do what God expects us to do. We should wipe the slate clean in our minds as though the sins never happened (just like God does when he takes you into heaven) and give Obama another four years.
