Does Keith Olbermann Think It’s OK to Have ‘Consensual’ Sex with 14-Year-Olds?

At least if you’re part of “Occupy Wall Street”:

This was just another gentle Occupier with a heart of gold enjoying some hot, consensual man-on-teen action. He totally tapped that 14-year-old ass. High fives all around!

That’s actually Jenn Taylor’s summary of Olbermann’s evident attitude: In attempting to “debunk” reports of rapes at Occupy encampments, KO insisted that a 14-year-old engaged in consensual sex with a 23-year-old convicted sex offender, Richard Armstrong.

Lee Stranahan thoroughly fisks Olby’s “debunking.”

You may be thinking to yourself: “Hmmm, why would a sex offender be involved in a protest movement about ‘economic injustice’? What’s the deal? What’s the shared interest there?”

Answer: The sense of aggrieved victimhood common to sociopathic personalities, as I explained in November:

Celebrations of sociopathic tendencies — and demonizing wealth is sociopathic — tend to attract maladjusted deviants.

Have you ever seen the movie Repo Man? There’s a scene where a punk tries to rob a convenience store, is fatally shot, and his dying words are, “I blame society.”

In those three words, the punk enscapsulates the entire worldview of the sociopath: His problems are always somebody else’s fault.

A contemptuous lawlessness, a lack of empathy, an outrageous sense of selfish entitlement, the tendency to demonize authority figures and to see the “System” as inherently unjust — these are traits of the sociopath, and it is impossible to look soberly at the Occupy movement without recognizing it as a sort of sociopathic street carnival.

The movement naturally attracts criminals, because of its own essentially criminal ideology.

The 23-year-old sex offender Richard Armstrong, rather than having learned any lesson from his prior conviction, evidently came to the Occupy Dallas encampment looking for an opportunity to re-offend, and found it. On behalf of the two-time sex offender, Keith Olbermann therefore says: “I blame society!”

I’ve often wondered if Keith Olbermann is at least a borderline sociopath himself.   Which would explain why Olby is always blaming someone else.

Except for the cruelty to animals part, it could be the President, or almost anyone on the left.

I would not describe the Olbermann decision-making process as “thinking” under any circumstances.

If they are Democrats and Progressives, he is not going to bring it up.  The ends justify the means.

The anti moral nature of the Occupy movement strikes again.

Olbermann? Into tapping teen-agers? Absolutely. You KNOW he gets into it.

You gotta break a few eggs or rape a few underage girls to make an omlet (that was sarcasm folks).

Sociopaths don’t see the system as unjust, they see it the way they see people in their lives, as something that exists solely for their benefit. It’s only when they get caught or in some way can’t abuse the system that they think its “unjust”. Olbermann is a classic narcissist, whether he is a typical sociopath, that’s another question. Maybe. Sociopath is a term that gets flung around way too much. It’s become a catch-all for everything wrong.

That border was crossed by Senor Oberwoman a looong time ago.

True, “sociopath” is overused.  But one might say the same thing of narcissism.

Still…..please note that narcissism and sociopath behavior can and will go hand in hand.  One condition does not cancel the other out.

Olby is certainly narcissistic.  But it’s possible to think he’s at least sliding down the hill towards being a sociopath.

On the other hand, it’s highly unlikely that he’ll ever see a shrink about his problems.  And next to impossible that any reports from those sessions will ever be published.

So this is all merely speculation.  It’s entirely possible that Olby is neither narcissistic nor a sociopath, just an arrogant, self-centered asshole.

Oh he’s definitely a narcissist. The reason I don’t think he’s a classic sociopath is because if he was, he’d more likely do a better job of hiding his narcissism, which is blatant.

Nah, some on the left think it’s ok to abuse animals (oh, unless you consider that the collie or the donkey is consenting to a truly “loving” relationship).
Some on the left are pushing to have that considered a lifestyle choice.

This is one of those “I told you so” moments for me; feels kinda good in a bitter, misanthropic way.
