Really, it’s like Democrats are trying to set a world land speed record for lying or something. No sooner do I update with their latest lies than the Democrats tell another half-dozen lies. Just for the fun of it, I guess. Romney campaign press release:

Do you feel that’s an appropriate injection in this campaign of basically making the accusation that Governor Romney basically caused that woman’s death.” ROBERT GIBBS: “Look, Mark, I think as you said, this is an ad by an entity that’s not controlled by the campaign. Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter: “I Don’t Know The Facts…” CNN’S JOHN BERMAN: “He’s suggesting she died because of the action that Mitt Romney took. Mitt Romney of course had left Bain years before that Bain took over this company and then his wife died years after. What’s going on? Is that accurate? Is that fair?” CUTTER: “Well John, here are the facts. I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick, or the facts about his health insurance, but here’s what I do know. Going back to Clinton’s “spinmeisters” being allowed to lie and twist every angle without challenge from the press, the Democrats have pushed the envelope to see just how far they can go with their lies before their compliant lap dogs in the press won’t go along. For nearly 20 years, they’ve found no limit.

As the intellectual father of today’s Democratic Party, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, advised, “Push and probe. As long as you encounter mush, keep pushing.”

It seems they may have finally crossed the line of lying which even the leftist press will not abide with Reid’s smear on taxes and this horrendous ad – and their lying about it.

We shall see. But when even an MSNBC panel which would have been approved by the Soviet Politburo balks at defending Reid, we may indeed be near the tipping point.

And make no mistake: if Democrats are EVER held to account for the truthfulness of their advertising and claims, they are doomed.

Ace posted about a Twitter which points out that two supposedly uncoordinated campaign ads aimed at the same presidential candidate feature Mr. Scoptic ……. wearing the same shirt in both ads.

Maybe he has only one good shirt? Perhaps he can’t afford pants, which is why he’s sitting down all the time.

No tipping point. These are criticisms on technical points: leaving a trail of evidence, and that Romney, or the RNC, could make a powerful ad that goes something like ‘First they called him a felon. Then a felon who didn’t pay his taxes. Now they call him murderer. What’s next? In the meantime, Are You Better Off with the clown Obama in the White House? Put Obama in the Outhouse’

So – no tipping point. These folks are fully in the tank for Obama.

No doubt they are all in for Obama. The tipping point I suggested is the one where they no longer just report the outright, baldfaced lies from Obama without question.

The head of the PAC that ran the “independent” ad is Bill Burton, who has been with Obama from the start – I think he was media director last time, and on the payroll as a political pro until leaving to run the Super-PAC.
