  1. Nothing in that tweet says the hawt wife is making the sandwiches. Crowder could be making them, or they could be ordering out, or his Mom might have brought them over.

  2. Maybe it’s just me, but eating a days-old sandwich isn’t my idea of something that would make liberals jealous.

Now, if he refused to give it a homeless person, like OWS did their food, it would make them jealous.

  3. Congrats to Steven for finding Mrs. Right (in more ways than one). I wish this had been accompanied by video of his appearance on Red Eye when the moderate Dem female comedienne guest launched into a snark attack on him for mentioning (in accord with the topic at hand) that as a single Christian, he was celibate. He was calm and friendly while she was seething with thinly-disguised disgust.

It’s truly amazing how needlessly defensive some people get when you say you don’t do drugs, or you don’t drink, and especially when you state for the record that you are saving yourself for marriage. They recoil as if you had said “I think I’m better than you are” when you did nothing but say what’s right for you in the same tone they say what’s right for them.

  4. Actually, “hot” is the thing the new Mrs Crowder is not.
“Hotness” is about the mindset and actions of using one’s sexualiy and whatever attractiveness one has as a commodity with which to purchase other tangible or intangible goods; moreover, as a commodity with a short shelf-life. “Hotness”, being a commodity, has to be used to be of any value … and its use dramatically shortens its shelf-life.
‘Hotness’ is about the mindset and actions by which one makes of oneself, whether male or female, a slut.

  5. Their deep-seated guilt at their libertine lifestyle causes these Leftists to lash out at people they wish they, deep down, could be like.

Scratch most Leftists and you will find Nihilism – self-hatred of one’s own life directed outward towards the world.

  6. Ahh…no…someone who is ‘Hot’ possesses a sensuality that is attractive both physically and mentally – emphasis on the latter.

How one carries oneself, the attitude behind physical and verbal gestures, determine together whether one is ‘Hot’.

Barbara Stanwyck was no great physicial beauty, but she had heart and gumption. And to many of us she’s more beautiful than Monroe or any other great physicial beauty you can name. She’s the very definition of ‘Hot’.

  7. I’m saving my virginity for my second wife…

Yep, all these years and I still have never danced “The Chicken Dance” at a wedding.

I think what they did was awesome, and I’m glad to be using the word correctly. But there are ways to prepare for a life together that allow those of us who were more into the rock scene (IYKWIMAITTYD) to still enjoy a fabulous, enduring relationship with the perfect spouse.

And by perfect, I mean “that which you both work toward.”

  8. Condidering the dress she deliberately chose to be married in, perhaps I erred. Perhaps she really is “hot”, or is at least a “hottie” wannabe. In which case, and unless she changes her mindset, the marriage is doomed from the start.

  9. Men — real men, such as our grandfathers and some of our fathers were — do not talk about women whom they respect in the language of “hot”; neither their own woman nor another man’s woman. To speak of a woman as “hot” is to say that you consider her to be a slut; it is to say that you see her as fair game for “locker-room” talk.

But then, most men today are no more real men than most women are real women.

Most women today have minds stuck in junior high, and they see their sexuality as a commodity with which both to acquire (unearned) power and to demonstrate their superiority over all other women in thier circles. Men are only the chits by which such women keep score in their never-ending status competition.

And most of today’s men? They are pathetic pussy-whipped junior-high boys who are content to be the place-holders in women’s pointless status competition … so long as they “get some” now and again.

  10. The first time I ever heard the term “pussy whipped” was at a summer job in a factory, in 1976 or so — by a woman scornfully dismissing some man who hadn’t the balls to say “No” to some (typical) stupidity of some woman or other.

  11. “Ahh…no…someone who is ‘Hot’ possesses a sensuality that is attractive both physically and mentally – emphasis on the latter.”

    So true!

Madonna (back in the day), and Sharon Stone, and Brittney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan, and Angelina Jolie, etc, and etc are so widely know for their stellar and amazing intellects!

As I young boy, I was a fan of ‘The Big Valley’ — entirely because of Barbara Stanwyck. Oh, sure, the actress who played the daughter was beautiful, and a joy to see/watch, but she couldn’t hold a candle to Stanwyck.

But, the fact remains, no one, male nor female (except perhaps for the odd lesbian), has in mind Barbara Stanwyck when speaking of “hotness”.

  13. Only Miss Jolie comes even close to being Hot because she does have a mind that is rather fearless in bucking the Leftist Party Line in Hollywood from time to time.
The others were never Hot. Any attraction they may have had was purely of the carnal type.
