Nice Work, No Sheeples!

by Smitty

Thomas Sowell knows a great deal, but Real Clear Politics should retain No Sheeples Here for that crucial graphic. The Republicans do resemble a Charlie Boehner figure, tricked again and again by Lucy van Pelosi.
Sowell asks:

Why Republicans join such transparent attempts to rescue the Democrats from the political consequences of their own actions is one of the many unsolved mysteries of human nature in general and the Republican Party in particular.

In truth, political compromise means:

  1. Inside the Beltway, Lucy and Charlie switch roles across a spectrum of issues.
  2. The more firmly planted in the toilet things are, the harder they are to pry loose. A dose of Solomon isn’t bad.
  3. They have enough real or imagined scandal dirt on each to keep all decision making as distorted as a Sonic Youth cut for as long as a Sonic Youth cut.

Frankly, I’ve Begun to Worry That Carol at No Sheeples Here Has Caught BMD

First described by Professor William Jacobson, Blogger Mood Disorder can have strange and unpredictable effects. Lately, Carol’s hilarious graphics have been getting . . . well, I don’t want to say weird, but you tell me:

So you see that there were telltale warning signs. And then Saturday came the most ominous portent that Blogger Mood Disorder had finally taken hold of Carol.

Ayla Brown and . . . two old dogs in hats?

Clearly, this is the work of a demented mind . . .
