Gender Theory Madness: Gay Man Gets ‘Doxed’ Because of His ‘Transphobia’

Posted on | June 30, 2014 | 22 Comments

In case you missed my posts over the weekend — “Tranarchy: Gender Theory = Insanity” and “Inmates Run the Facebook Asylum” — the long-running online war between transgender activists and radical lesbian feminists has been heating up lately. The two sides of the battle front are essentially this: Transactivists say it is “hate” to criticize them or refuse to participate in their pronoun-switching charades; radical dykes insist that, however fungible “gender” may be, feminism is still about the condition of women as a biologically determined category, which involves XX chromosomes, ovaries and so forth.

The latest example of how weird this war has become: “Jay Allen” is a gay man whose blog is called “Who Is Cis?” That is to say, he is dubious of the attempt by transactivists (who use the prefix “cis-” as an antonym of “trans-“) to deal with biological categories as a social problem that needs to be “theorized.” He respects radical feminists’ insistence on the importance of “female only” spaces. (Hint: If you think make-believe male lesbians, including “transitioning” shemales with penises, shouldn’t be permitted to use public restrooms for women, you’re a hater, according to transgender activists.)

On Friday, Twitter user @Anon_Redteam, who identifies as a member of Anonymous, “doxed” @WhoIsCis”, publishing his personal information in order to expose this gay man to harassment.

The conflict between radical feminism and transgender activists dates back more than three decades. Janice Raymond and Sheila Jeffreys (both of whom are lesbians and Women’s Studies professors, but I repeat myself) have remained firm in their insistence on speaking bluntly about what transgenderism signifies, psychologically and politically. As a conservative who considers feminism a mental disorder in its own right, I nevertheless find myself nodding in agreement with much of what these women say about the transgender phenomenon. Their totalitarian enemies even tried to get the radical feminists listed by the SPLC as a “hate group,” which tells you these dykes must be doing something right:

Gender Identity Watch founder Cathy Brennan tells the Voice she found efforts to pressure Routledge not to publish Jeffreys’s work “very frightening,” adding that she’s deeply troubled by “the idea that [Jeffreys], as an academic publishing a book, should have someone looking over her shoulder to make sure she’s using approved language.” . . .
An attorney who once campaigned for a Maryland nondiscrimination law that would have included legal protections for sexual orientation and gender identity, Brennan says the campaign against her is “based on this idea that if you don’t toe a specific line” — i.e., accept trans women on their own terms — “you’re a Hitler/Nazi/hater/bigot.”

Read the whole thing and make up your own mind.

The First Amendment guarantees not only free speech and a free press, but it also recognizes freedom of association. The right to assemble peacefully means that feminists don’t have to invite transvestites to a women-only conference. It is insanity to complain that you are a victim of “discrimination” because actual women — y’know, the kind who were born with a vagina and stuff — don’t accept your surgical simulacrum as valid for membership in their club.

Joe Biden E-Mails Me

Posted on | June 30, 2014 | 6 Comments

If you ever get signed up for one Democrat/liberal e-mail list, you will eventually be signed up for all Democrat/liberal e-mail lists. While covering the 2008 election, I signed up for e-mail alerts from the Obama campaign and my inbox is routinely flooded with crap. However, it’s useful to see what kind of desperate appeals the Democrats are sending to their supporters, like the one sent this morning by the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) “from” Joe Biden:

Friends —
I hate to admit it, but if we fail to respond to Republican attacks now, we’re going to be up the creek without a paddle.
The Republicans just announced a $30,200,000 all-out offensive targeting Democrats in key battleground states. That’s the kind of cash that could give Speaker Boehner his largest Republican majority ever.
But — it doesn’t have to. In 2012, when Barack and I were taking punches left and right, folks like you were there for us. And I can’t thank you enough for that.
Now, we need you again. The biggest midterm fundraising deadline yet is at midnight. Can you chip in $5 or more right now?

MIDNIGHT DEADLINE: ALL GIFTS TRIPLE-MATCHED!

[The following are all links to the DCCC donation page — RSM]

Chip in $5 immediately >>
Chip in $35 immediately >>
Chip in $50 immediately >>
Chip in $100 immediately >>
Chip in $250 immediately >>
Or click here to donate another amount.

Thanks,

Joe

P.S. I’m telling you — we can defeat these House Republicans who block just about everything President Obama proposes. But we’re going to need everyone in on this.
Can you chip in something today — even if it’s just 5 bucks?

As I say, these kinds of Democrat junk e-mails arrive in my inbox routinely, and I find it difficult to believe that even the most wild-eyed liberal fanatic could be persuaded to “chip in” by these scare tactics: “Oh, noes! Republicans are attacking us! It’s an all-out offensive! Send money! We’re going to need everyone in on this!”

On the other hand, if you’re stupid enough to vote for these clowns . . .

Men’s Conference Succeeds

Posted on | June 30, 2014 | 17 Comments

Adam Serwer is a liberal journalist and when I saw his byline on a story about the first Men’s Rights conference, I feared the worst. Yet his article about the conference is surprisingly fair, perhaps because the organizers were well-prepared for media scrutiny. A genius move: Most of the speakers on the first day of the conference were women — and thus was debunked the accusation of misogyny.

This is one of the dirty little tricks of feminism: If you criticize feminists, you’re accused of hating women. But as someone who criticizes feminism on a daily basis — the founder of National Offend a Feminist Week — I know that the opposite is true. I criticize feminism because I love women. Heck, I even love the women who hate me. Feminists are just so cute when they’re offended, and when I read some radical lesbian’s denunciation of heterosexuality, proclaiming their “revulsion” toward the penis, my reaction is, “Yeah, baby. Keep talking sexy like that and I might buy you a drink.”

Earlier this month I mentioned that feminists had attempted to shut down the conference. (Because feminists hate freedom, that’s why.) They succeeded in getting the event moved from a Detroit hotel to a VFW post in the suburbs, but the conference itself was a success and — as the inaugural event was obviously not the hate fest its critics had claimed it would be — the organizers will probably have fewer problems in putting together future conferences.

My favorite quote from the Detroit conference is by Dr. Tara Palmatier: “When men can be shamed just for being men, and women no longer have any sense of shame, it creates a dangerously lopsided dynamic between the sexes.” Somebody ought to write a book . . .

Crisis or Opportunity

Posted on | June 29, 2014 | 12 Comments

The flood of illegal immigrants across the border is a crisis, says President Obama, who will reportedly request $2 billion to help stop the influx and deport the illegals. But no, says Democrat congressional leader Nancy Pelosi, it’s not a crisis, it’s an opportunity . . . for what?

To blame Republicans maybe?

Demi Lovato Keeps Dropping Hints

Posted on | June 29, 2014 | 36 Comments

Either this is a coy, slow-motion “coming out,” or else it’s a clever marketing strategy to attract a niche audience, but maybe it’s both. Whatever it is, 21-year-old former Disney starlet Demi Lovato earlier this month performed for “my #LGBT brothers and sisters” at the Los Angeles Gay Pride parade and — although she has never publicly identified herself as a lesbian — she just keeps dropping hints:

Earlier in June, pop star Demi Lovato was named Grand Marshal at the Los Angeles Pride parade.
Then, on Monday evening, the actress-singer proudly showed her support for LGBT equality at Logo TV’s Trailblazers Awards show in New York City, which honored LGBT civil rights pioneers.
The 21-year-old Heart Attack songstress took to the stage and opened up about her grandfather being gay and the challenges he was confronted with before his death.
‘I’ve never spoken about this before, but my grandfather was a trailblazer himself,’ Lovato told the audience.
She explained: ‘He was brave enough to come out in the 1960s, and I feel that a lot of my spirit has come from him. He passed away a few years later and I only wish he could have been able to see all the progress that has been made.’

Uh, “I feel that a lot of my spirit has come from him”? Could you please be more specific, Miss Lovato? Like maybe take out a full-page ad in Variety and make an announcement? Because if you’re gay, I’m totally blaming it on Joe Jonas. And also the patriarchy.

But mainly Joe Jonas.

Lesbian Celebrated #LGBTPride Month by Murdering Her Wife, Police Say

Posted on | June 29, 2014 | 63 Comments

Police say Tiffany Nowden-Vale (left) murdered Russina Vale (right).

There are hate crimes and then there are love crimes, I guess:

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The former Colorado woman wanted in the death of her wife in California has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge.
Tiffany Nowden was arrested in California Tuesday. She had been wanted since the June 5 death of her wife, Russina Vale.
Deputy District Attorney Lindsey Carinci said the couple — who had an “on-and-off” relationship — reconnected last November and got married early this year. . . .

(Their “on-and-off” relationship? Definitely off, now.)

Heath said Vale was originally from California and decided to move back because she hated winters in Colorado.
Things seemed to be going well until late May, when Vale got into argument with Nowden at the Barona Casino, where the victim worked. Nowden was escorted off the Indian reservation, Carinci said.
The prosecutor said Vale sent an email to family and friends stating that the relationship with Nowden was over and that she was getting a divorce.

(Alas, it seems Nowden had other plans.)

Vale was found dead on June 5 when she didn’t show up for work.
Officers who made entry into the apartment found a naked Vale dead in her bed. She had been stabbed in the stomach, arm and chest, Carinci said.

By the way, there is no word on the fate of the couple’s two dogs, Scruffy and Bella, who disappeared after Vale’s murder.

Let us congratulate the lesbian community on this historic achievement: Equality in marriage and equality in murder.
