To Cap an Action-Packed Week of #Winning, Tulsi Nukes ‘RussiaGate’

Posted on | July 19, 2025 | Comments Off on To Cap an Action-Packed Week of #Winning, Tulsi Nukes ‘RussiaGate’

Easy to see now why the Deep State went all-in to try and wreck Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination as Director of National Intelligence. I have more thoughts, but let’s get the news out of the way first:

The Obama administration’s top officials committed a “treasonous conspiracy” by manufacturing and politicizing intelligence to create the false narrative that led to the years-long Trump-Russia collusion probe, according to newly-declassified documents released by Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard. . . .
Despite the intelligence community’s consensus that Russia “lacked the intent and capability to hack U.S. elections” prior to Trump’s 2016 win over Hillary Clinton, Gabbard said Obama’s officials changed their tune soon after the president won, ignoring the evidence. . . .
On the day the [Presidential Daily Briefing] was supposed to be published on December 9, NSC officials including Clapper, then-CIA Director John Brennan, then-National Security Advisor Susan Rice, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, and others, met in the White House Situation Room to discuss Russia. . . .
Following the meeting, Clapper’s assistant emailed intelligence leaders telling them to create a new assessment “per the president’s request,” detailing the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.”

You can read the rest. The most important revelation — based on newly declassified documents, keep in mind — is the extent to which the “Intelligence community,” in assembling this frame-up against Trump, were acting on direct orders from Obama. We’ve known the basic outlines of the Russian “collusion” hoax for a while now, but what Gabbard has done is to prove that Obama administration officials perpetrated this hoax on the basis of presidential orders. That’s what the December 9, 2016 meeting was about, and Tulsi’s got the receipts to prove it.

As I said previously, I have some thoughts about this, e.g., do you believe it is just a random coincidence that, hours before Gabbard released this RussiaGate bombshell, the Wall Street Journal published a flimsy smear about Donald Trump sending a birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003?

Because I do not believe it’s a coincidence. Democratic operatives of the Deep State, and their media minions, are certainly not naïve as to how this game is played. It took many weeks for Gabbard’s team to put together the contents of that document trove she dumped on Friday, and this Epstein thing was timed as a “spoiling attack,” as such tactics are called in the military. So I don’t doubt for a minute that the timing of the Wall Street Journal story was part of an attempt to distract from Gabbard’s release of the RussiaGate documents. Despite every effort that Gabbard might make to keep the preparation of this report a secret, the Deep State still has assets inside the bureaucracy who would tip off Democrats about what was coming down the pike and, having advance notice of when it was slated for publication, this “spoiling attack” was set up to be published previous to Gabbard’s bombshell. That’s not paranoia talking, it’s a logical deduction based on facts:

One of the co-authors of the WSJ report, Joe Palazzolo, previously wrote for a publication called Main Justice, which was founded by Mary Jacoby, who happens to be the wife of Glenn Simpson, the Fusion GPS founder behind the debunked Steele Dossier and the Russia hoax. Both Simpson and Jacoby previously worked at the Wall Street Journal themselves, which tells you everything you need to know about the political rot festering in that newsroom.

Anyway, a lot of people are demanding “accountability,” i.e., criminal prosecutions of everyone involved in the RussiaGate scandal, up to and including Barack Obama himself. While I would enthusiastically applaud such a Payback Is Hell and Karma Is a Bitch reprisal — given everything these vile swine did to Trump — I don’t think it’s likely.

It is one thing to expose such scandals, and another thing altogether to turn the scandal into a criminal indictment that can result in a jury voting unanimously for conviction. There is a reason why the protest mobs who wave signs demanding “#Justice for [Insert Dead Criminal’s Name Here]” are so often disappointed when the local District Attorney announces that the cops won’t be charged for shooting the suspect. Our criminal justice system is, thank God, designed to make it difficult to get a felony conviction in court. In the case of a suspect getting shot by cops, before a prosecutor can charge the cops with any wrongdoing — even mere negligence, let alone deliberate murder — he must first ask whether the cop can make a plausible case for self-defense or otherwise justify the shooting as necessary to public safety. Over and over again, in such cases, the prosecutors find themselves facing a self-defense argument they can’t beat. This is why, even when it’s a Soros-funded anti-police district attorney like Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, the cops aren’t prosecuted for shooting suspects, no matter how sketchy the case may seem to Ben Crump and the #Justice mobs. And so it is with RussiaGate.

Those of us who’ve been angry for years about the Steele Dossier, etc., now find ourselves in the shoes of the urban protest mobs demanding #Justice. We know damned well that Team Obama and Team Hillary engaged in wrongdoing, and that they deserve to be punished for it, but what are the chances that Pam Bondi could actually get a criminal conviction in a federal court? Not good — not good at all.

As egregious as the RussiaGate scandal is, the overwhelming likelihood is that nobody involved in this sordid mess will ever be charged with a crime, and that if somehow Bondi does find a way to get indictments against Brennan, Clapper, Comey, et al., the subsequent trial will end in a verdict of acquittal. “Guilty as hell, free as a bird,” to quote Weather Underground alumnus Bill Ayers. “America is a great country.”

Is NPR’s Popularity Waning, or Has Their Appeal Become More Selective?

Posted on | July 18, 2025 | 1 Comment

Excuse me for dropping a Spinal Tap gag in the headline, but I couldn’t help thinking of that line as Republicans in Congress voted to eliminate federal taxpayer funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which is the umbrella organization for National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). What put me in mind of Spinal Tap manager Ian Faith’s dishonest spin on the band’s declining concert attendance was the link-backs to NPR whistleblower Uri Berliner’s April 2024 exposé of the public radio network’s bias:

It’s true NPR has always had a liberal bent, but during most of my tenure here, an open-minded, curious culture prevailed. We were nerdy, but not knee-jerk, activist, or scolding.
In recent years, however, that has changed. Today, those who listen to NPR or read its coverage online find something different: the distilled worldview of a very small segment of the U.S. population. . . .
Like many unfortunate things, the rise of advocacy took off with Donald Trump. As in many newsrooms, his election in 2016 was greeted at NPR with a mixture of disbelief, anger, and despair. . . . But what began as tough, straightforward coverage of a belligerent, truth-impaired president veered toward efforts to damage or topple Trump’s presidency.
Persistent rumors that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia over the election became the catnip that drove reporting. At NPR, we hitched our wagon to Trump’s most visible antagonist, Representative Adam Schiff.
Schiff, who was the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, became NPR’s guiding hand, its ever-present muse. By my count, NPR hosts interviewed Schiff 25 times about Trump and Russia. During many of those conversations, Schiff alluded to purported evidence of collusion. The Schiff talking points became the drumbeat of NPR news reports.
But when the Mueller report found no credible evidence of collusion, NPR’s coverage was notably sparse. Russiagate quietly faded from our programming. . . .
Back in 2011, our audience leaned a bit to the left but roughly reflected America politically; now, the audience is cramped into a smaller, progressive silo.
Despite all the resources we’d devoted to building up our news audience among blacks and Hispanics, the numbers have barely budged. In 2023, according to our demographic research, 6 percent of our news audience was black, far short of the overall U.S. adult population, which is 14.4 percent black. And Hispanics were only 7 percent, compared to the overall Hispanic adult population, around 19 percent. Our news audience doesn’t come close to reflecting America. It’s overwhelmingly white and progressive, and clustered around coastal cities and college towns. . . .

Read the whole thing. Not surprisingly, Uri Berliner got the ax at NPR after spilling the beans, because liberal media bias is like Fight Club — the first rule is, you can’t mention it, at least not if you want to be employed at an outfit like NPR. Media bias is structural and systemic in its nature, the result of hiring practices that exclude opposing voices, so that there is no one in the newsroom who doesn’t share the echo-chamber delusions that their one-sided coverage is fair and accurate.

Here again I’m reminded of Spinal Tap, where so much of the humor derived from the band members’ absurd lack of self-awareness. Nigel Tufnel is playing a quiet and moody piano part for Marty DiBergi, telling him that it was influenced by Mozart and Bach:

Marty: What do you call this?
Nigel: Well, this piece is called “Lick My Love Pump.”

Just as Nigel didn’t get what was wrong with that — and let’s not even talk about the cover art for their Smell the Glove album — so, too, do the folks in public broadcasting fail to understand what’s wrong with producing partisan propaganda on the taxpayer’s dime. Doubling down on Trump Derangement Syndrome, making Adam Schiff and his “Russian collusion” fantasies a regular feature of their news coverage — why would they do that? Or, more to the point, why would they not see what’s wrong with that? The answer, as Uri Berliner pointed out, was that everyone in the building shared the same bias. NPR’s boss at the time, CEO John Lansing, had declared diversity was the organization’s “North Star,” but that obviously did not extend to diversity of opinion:

Concerned by the lack of viewpoint diversity, I looked at voter registration for our newsroom. In D.C., where NPR is headquartered and many of us live, I found 87 registered Democrats working in editorial positions and zero Republicans. None.
So on May 3, 2021, I presented the findings at an all-hands editorial staff meeting. When I suggested we had a diversity problem with a score of 87 Democrats and zero Republicans, the response wasn’t hostile. It was worse. It was met with profound indifference. I got a few messages from surprised, curious colleagues. But the messages were of the “oh wow, that’s weird” variety, as if the lopsided tally was a random anomaly rather than a critical failure of our diversity North Star.

The belief that the exclusion of Republicans from employment at NPR is random, rather than deliberate, is a “Lick My Love Pump” level of not getting it, and the current leadership is even worse:

On Thursday’s “CNN News Central,” NPR CEO Katherine Maher responded to accusations that NPR is biased by saying that the network has worked to address that criticism and they’ll “keep doing that work in order to both understand those criticisms, but also to ensure that we remain the nonpartisan organization that we are today.”

As might be expected, others in the liberal media have circled the wagons to defend taxpayer funding for such crap, with CNN’s Brian Stelter supplying this laughable headline: “Trump’s victory over PBS and NPR ‘bias’ will be ‘devastating’ for rural areas, station leaders say.” Oh, sure, it’s going to be “devastating” for rural folks in Kansas and Kentucky that they might lose access to a daily dose of what Katherine Maher thinks of as “nonpartisan” coverage. Now shut up and lick my love pump.

California Dope Farm Child Slavery and Why Conservative Journalism Matters

Posted on | July 13, 2025 | Comments Off on California Dope Farm Child Slavery and Why Conservative Journalism Matters

Bad news this week for Gov. Gavin Newsom:

Ten illegal migrant youths, most of them unaccompanied, were found at a California marijuana farm during a tense immigration raid on Thursday, prompting federal officials to launch an investigation into possible child labor violations.
The youngsters, one just 14 years old, were discovered by federal agents at Glass House Farms in Southern California during a chaotic operation in which one protester appeared to fire a gun at authorities, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott said on X Thursday.
“This is Newsom’s California,” Scott said in response to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who shared a video of the raid.
Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin revealed Friday the feds “rescued” eight of the minors, who crossed the border “unaccompanied.”
McLaughlin said the alarming situation “looks like exploitation, violation of child labor laws and potentially human trafficking or smuggling.” . . .
The farm’s president, Graham Farrar, is a regular donor to Democratic politicians, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Farrar has donated to the Santa Barbara County Democratic Central Committee’s federal political action committee and Rep. Salud Carbajal, D-Calif, on multiple occasions, according to the records.
He also donated $10,000 to Newsom in 2018, according to California records.

So, Governor Newsom — considered a leading “mainstream” contender for the Democratic Party’s 2028 presidential nomination — is supported by a corporate marijuana producer who uses foreign child labor supplied by human traffickers. How much of this would you know if you got your news from ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS or CNN? The correct answer is zero, because those outlets almost completely ignored this story.

Consider how CBS News reported the story Friday:

After riots at a California marijuana farm where ICE conducted an operation arresting 200 illegal immigrants, Los Angeles correspondent Carter Evans repeated on Friday’s CBS Evening News what someone he interviewed about the matter told him, mainly that “she feels like pretty much everyone with brown skin is a target.”
The media’s desire to base journalistic objectivity around what they view as truth instead of neutrality only seems to apply when they can call Republicans untruthful. As Evans began, he ran off Homeland Security’s justifications, “As for the raids in Camarillo and another nearby cannabis farm, the Department of Homeland Security claims it entered with search warrants, rescued at least ten migrant children from potential exploitation, and arrested what it described as 200 illegal aliens, while more than 500 rioters attempted to disrupt operations. The standoff lasted for hours, well into the night.”

The CBS audience is told that, according to “someone” cited as a source, “everyone with brown skin” was targeted in the ICE raid, whereas when government officials explain the actual purpose of the operation, this is merely what DHS “claims” and those apprehended in the raid are merely “described as . . . illegal aliens.” At any point during Biden’s presidency, did CBS News ever exhibit such skepticism toward the “claims” made by officials of his administration? And notice that there is no information in the CBS News report about the CEO of the cannabis company being a $10,000 donor to California’s Democratic governor.

Literal child slavery is happening in Newsom’s California, but the CBS News audience is left with the impression that the real issue is racism, because “pretty much everyone with brown skin is a target” of Trump’s immigration policy. If your 80-year-old grandma believes such nonsense, now you know why. And can you imagine how much worse it would be if there were no conservative alternatives to the “mainstream” media?
