New year. New URL. The FMJRA tradition rolls on. Things have been hectic, dealing with Stacy’s outburst of left-leaning posts, the stress of restraining his desires to re-code the entire site from scratch. Yes, Stacy, we can post executable scripts to the Silver Logic service provider. No, that’s not a good idea. Sheesh. Give a kid a toy…

Our readers have been the soul of graciousness and charm. Without further fondue,

Holiday Traffic Sucked:
People should have brought their families to this blog and produced a peak, not a valley. OK, so ‘this blog’ at this URL didn’t exist until a couple of days ago. But still.

…But You Can Roll Out a Shiny Site For Good Justice:

  • Fishersville Mike was the first linker with the new URL.
  • No Sheeples Here, admittedly, dusted FishyM with the Patented Graphic Machine.
  • Little Miss Attila took notice.
  • Paco Enterprises calls me ‘suave’. We’ll be having none of that “Deb ‘n’ air” sort of talk here, mister.
  • Jumping in Pools trebled down on links to the new site. A fine example for all.
  • Makes My Brain Itch had the first ‘Jeffersons’ reference.
  • Left Coast Rebel: “The boys helped put the Left Coast Rebel on the map.”
  • No Runny Eggs was quick enough to notice the absence of the tip jar, which oversight did not last for long.
  • Public Secrets notes having failed to blogroll us. We reply by pulling the beam out of our own eye.
  • DaTechguy thought we were subdued. This report predates the triumphal vlog.
  • Smash Mouth Politics touts the new blog, and joins the blogroll. WordPress makes the blogroll significantly easier to manage.
  • Political Byline seems to imply that the vlog somehow lowered the standard for decency in contribution solicitation.
  • American Power notes the new site, and Stacy’s trip West (see below). I worry about DD’s camera getting together with Stacys and, you know, making a little iPod or something.
  • Sir Ed of Driscoll welcomed us to the new digs.
  • Another Black Conservative joined the “Movin’ on up” chorus.
  • Wombat Rampant gives a hearty thumbs up to Stacy’s efforts: “Well worth your time, at any rate, because the man actually gets out there and does old-fashioned shoe-leather reporting, which a lot of these feckless young “journalists” wouldn’t recognize if it bit them in the butt.”
  • Rhetorican offers a hat tip.
  • Cynthia Yockey pushes the Jeffersons theme off the cliff of absurdity. An iPhone trombone app? Flog me gently with a morning star. Thanks, Cynthia!
  • BatesLine is another welcome blogroll addition.
  • Little Miss Attila admonishes us that we should not drink and vlog. But LMA: alcohol merely sobers us up!
  • The Camp of the Saints allows that he’s enjoying doing absolutely nothing, but does catch up with us.

Stacy’s Western Conquest:
Stacy will, of course, bring the pink camera to Pasadena. I dub this camera ‘Wigglesworth‘. The only way Stacy can mitigate this situation is to install TweetDeck.

Other FMRJA outings:

Miscellaneous Shouts:

  • The Camp of the Saints concurred on the ‘cheap whore’ label for Senator Nelson, who truly sets low standards and fails to meet them.
  • Serr8d hat tipped us on BHO’s “Prevaricator of the Year”.
  • Paco Enterprises linked the “‘bring your own Dutchman’ approach to airline safety.”
  • Fishersville Mike approves of Stacy’s funding suggestions for Pat in Shereveport, and reminisced about his first link
    from Stacy
, which, fortunately, diminished the masculinity of neither man.
  • Dan Riehl rebutted my assertion in defense of Susan Anne Hiller.
  • Wizbang brings the Charles Johnson update for those still inclined.
  • Where There’s a William downplayed the Israeli ambassador convocation. Peace sells.
  • Makes My Brain Itch added thoughts to the “blogging as a behavioral disorder” thread. ?dnim ym depraw sah gniggolb syas ohW
  • Political Byline, having already chided us for our vlog shamelessness, mooched the WordPress theme that we’d freely mooched off the tubey-webs. Now, were hacking the CSS directly, so, for maximum debasement, let us know if we should publish the stylesheet too. šŸ˜‰ (Because we’re chummy like that).
  • American Power is going for a “Jane Hamsher Nude” Google bomb. Redefining bravery, that Donald Douglas.
  • Left Coast Rebel liked the Churchillian slant on the MURUM ARIES ATTIGIT post.
  • Dustbury notes that “The antithesis of ‘all things to everyone’ was Ronald Reagan” while linking the political moralism post.

That’s your inaugural FMJRA for 2010. I’ve added a dozen sites to what is probably The World’s Largest Blogroll. However, our relentless quest for galactic conquest needs to be fed more URLs, so don’t hesitate to shower me with the linky-love.

Thanks for the linkage! Now I have a new reason for blogging after reading this line, “WordPress makes the blogroll significantly easier to manage.”, hmmmmmmmm.

If it so easy, than why is Jumping in Pools not included….Aha!

Speaking of rolls, no roll is complete without an Egg on it (or in it if it’s an egg roll).
