Kathy Griffin announced her New Year’s resolution to continue a verbal assault on the Palin family. Only in 2011, the comedian said she intends to target Sarah Palin’s 16-year-old daughter, Willow.
“I’ve already gone for Sarah, Todd and Bristol obviously,” Griffin told The Hollywood Reporter. “But I think it’s Willow’s year to go down. In 2011, I want to offend a new Palin.”

Nothing is sacred and no one is safe, as I wrote a month ago:

Griffin and [comedian Margaret] Cho, like the members of the liberal media who applaud and encourage them, are engaged in a political search-and-destroy mission that began the moment Sarah Palin was announced as the 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate. The threat she posed to Obama was clear from the outset, and was quickly proven by a phenomenal poll surge for the Republican ticket, and they embarked on an unrelenting anti-Palin campaign that continues to this day.
There are no rules to this warfare, no boundary of decency the liberals will not transgress in pursuit of their intended prey. Everything is fair game to them, so long as they think it can hurt Palin.

    Stay classy? Griffin had a pap smear filmed on her reality show. Classy is the antithesis of this celeb-wanna-be. Griffin is sadly (and I mean that in the truest sense of the word sad, pathetic, pitiful..) just another pathetic being who thinks the more vulgar she can be the more attention she’ll get. I think this can be applied to many liberals, many things they do are done solely for approval of the “hip” crowd.

    I speak as someone who grew up as a kid of hippie parents in San Francisco. So I’ve thought a lot about the immature thinking of liberals, as I closely observed the hippie-movements ebb and flows – people dropping the principles they were raised with to embrace drugs, vulgarity, trendy clothing, hairstyles, etc, simply to be in the “in-crowd”.

    Griffin is completely unoriginal.

    Very sad.

    Wasn’t Margaret Cho on Dancing with the Stars with Bristol Palin? She said she liked Bristol but that Sarah Palin guilted her into being on DWTS. Oooooooooh. A mom guilting her daughter to do something horrible like…dancing! I mean it is like Gypsy!

    Okay, not exactly gracious, but not exactly the same league of scumminess as Ms. Griffin. But then again Griffin is complete and utter media whore (a proper use btw of that “w” word). Properly pronounced who-or.

    I had never heard of this comedian before this post. So, maybe her publicist’s advice was worth the money Griffin paid him/her.

    As for liberals, the MSM and these comics are not liberals but leftists, mockers, etc. I don’t like the word “liberal” applied to them because it blurs the difference between these people and classical liberals. That confuses a lot of impressionable college students.
