Re: the Jihad Watch story linked above – after the mohamadeens burned our flag & spewed their hateful islamovitriol, they then stabbed two members of the EDL. Religion of pieces.

Boatlift – An Untold Tale of 9/11 Resilience

This is very good – lots of boats.
    Narrated by Tom Hanks

    take 2:

This is very good. It is a short film narrated by Tom Hanks.

It has nothing to do with any wars elsewhere, nor is it any sniveling, smarmy American sentimentality, but a tale of human strength & resilience, which can be related to by survivors from all over the world.

I guess if someone is never called upon to help terrified people in any circumstance, but can rationalize sitting in their armchair taking nasty swats at a good
short film before even watching it, that is no skin off my nose. These sentiments being so extremely short-sighted & bitter, I suggest
throwing those same sentiments in the trash & watching this short film
with a  much more open & less embittered heart. Or NOT — but thanks for considering it either way. “Never
go through life saying you should have. If you want to do something, do it”.

Amazing how far they’ve fallen since Mr Cooke. I gave up on them During Norv’s tenure.

    RIP Andy Whitfield.

I thought Spartacus was sort of a strange show, but I did like Whitfield’s portrayal of Spartacus (and I liked Lucy Lawless too).  I am very sorry for his family’s loss.

As for the Mets and MLB, MLB should proposes a league tribute or just allow the Mets (and even the Yankees) to do something appropriate for September 11.
