Discount Death

Posted on | November 23, 2012 | 20 Comments

You stay classy, death merchants:

A Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in southern Florida is offering a black Friday discount — including $10 off a visit to the abortion center today.
Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast offered the special, saying, “Visit our West Palm Beach or Kendall Health Center for special after Thanksgiving savings on Friday, November 23rd.”
Pro-life blogger Jill Stanek noticed the Black Friday discount and responded, “Planned Parenthood brings new meaning to the term, “Black Friday,” doesn’t it?”
This is the same abortion business where the chair of the national Democratic party headlined a small rally last year.

You may wonder, how can Planned Parenthood afford to offer discounts? Because they’re funded with your tax dollars, of course.

A tougher question: How do they sleep at night?

I want to know if they offer a punch card, like coffee places do. Buy 8 abortions, get your ninth abortion free!

They sleep soundly knowing they are keeping the black population in check and corralled safely in the inner cities.

Why, its almost like Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist who wanted to use abortion as a way to get rid of the ‘unfit’.

The problem with the ‘news’ story is that there is no such offer or sale on abortions. It is an offer for women who use contraception to get a 12 month supply and make payments. That way they do not have to worry about making monthly visits to the doctor, they can get their year’s supply and make payments. It is simply a payment arrangement for a product that 99% of women aged 15–44 who have ever had sexual intercourse have used at least one contraceptive method. So as a courtesy to your readers and fidelity to ethical citizen journalism, you should correct your entry accordingly.

The story is bogus. They’re offering a discount payment plan for birth control. Which would prevent unwanted pregnancies and reduce the number of abortions. But hey, why let a little reality get in the way of our trumped up fauxtrage?

Just what do you think “Emergency Contraception” is? It is the provision of an abortifacient.

However, the $10 discount for office visits that day would apply to any office visit, including those for scheduling abortions.

But hey, why let a little reality get in the way of your trumped up fauxtrage?

Emergency contraception is not an abortificant. All it does is stop ovulation, same as the pill. And no, it doesn’t prevent implantation. Just ovulation.

The tendency of so many people to willfully confuse contraception with abortion is disturbing.
