It’s been apparent from the start that Obama’s attitude towards “negotiating” the “fiscal cliff” is identical to his post-partisan transparency of 2009: “I won, suck on it.”

Passing Bowles-Simpson (which isn’t actually B-S, since the Commission could not agree, but only the co-chairs) is one good idea. But after that, walk away, declare the President not serious about spending, and congratulate the American people for their choice.

Let it burn. I’m buying ammo, canned food, canning products, and seeds.

The GOP should [but, of course, it won’t] stop all negotiating with the Dems, let them bring up a bill before the House, have all Repubs vote ‘Present’ so it will pass, and let it go to the Senate where the GOP must do the same.

Let the Democrats own this [even keeping part of the Bush Tax Cuts]. It will fail no matter what.
