But Their Football Team Still Sucks

Posted on | August 19, 2013 | 41 Comments

And their women are still ugly:

Auburn University has the most conservative student body of any college in the nation, according to the Princeton Review’s annual rankings, released [Aug. 5].
In contrast, Bennington College in Vermont, is the nation’s most liberal school, according to the study.
Rounding out the top ten most conservative schools for 2013 is Texas A&M, Grove City College, Hillsdale College, College of the Ozarks, University of Dallas, Thomas Aquinas College, The United States Military Academy (West Point), Hampden-Sydney College, and the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis).
The most liberal student bodies, according to Princeton Review, are Sarah Lawrence College (NY), Warren Wilson College, Bard College, Marlboro College, New College of Florida, Macaelester College, College of the Atlantic, Vassar College, and Skidmore College.

The most important thing — Princeton Review probably didn’t mention this — is that ‘Bama could easily beat any of them. Maybe Texas A&M could give us a good game, but that’s about it. ROLL TIDE!

I think it’s ‘Bama that has “something to prove” vis-a-vis the Texas Aggies, Stacy.

Or are you just tryin’ to stir up some flame-traffic, you ol’ codger??

Stacy, Stacy… Auburn might be down but we’ll be back. Your quarterback disagrees on Auburn women being ugly seeing as he’s dating one.
Talk about ugly, look at a lot of the Tide fan base, fat toothless hags with questionable DNA. Kate Hunt would probably be named Miss Congeniality at a Tuscaloosa tailgate party.

My wife, a grad student at Mississippi State, likes Auburn for three reasons: (1) Last season MState beat Auburn, after which (B) Auburn beat LSU which had previously beaten MState, and (iii) Auburn isn’t Alabama.

In my house we root for Mississippi State, and whoever’s playing Alabama. Which was the only reason we ever rooted for <spit> Georgia.

The Tide fan base includes at least one person I can name (but won’t) who has no ties to Alabama, has never been to college, and every month has to beg friends to help make rent.

Our esteemed host has made a major misgoof if he thinks that the women at the very liberal schools are ugly. Look at that list of liberal schools, and you are looking at a list of very expensive private schools. Those schools are filled with the daughters of the well-to-do, and we know that physical attractiveness, physical fitness and economic success go hand-in-hand: better-looking people, overall, make more money than poorer ones, though there are certainly exceptions to that rule, such as the First Lady. 🙂

Good looking people tend to produce good looking children. The babes who attend Vasser really are babes, for the most part.

Oh, wait, he was referring to Auburn’s women, wasn’t he? As an alumnus of the University of Kentucky, I can tell you that UK has the best looking babes around, and we can kick ‘Bama’s and Auburn’s asses in basketball.

I’ll take ‘Bama or Auburn co-eds over the liberal schools for beauty, poise, character, and personality.

And I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Texas A&M football in their first year in the SEC. Good school. Good team. Lots of fan support. Good luck this year, Aggies.

‘Bama is on a roll [no pun intended], putting together great teams of late. Will there be a three-peat?

Although my mother’s people are from Alabama, I was never introduced to the internecine football rivalry of that fair state. My hatred is reserved for the hated Jayhawks of the University of Kansas. At least our (Mizzou’s) rivalry goes back to the 1850’s, when it was decided by gunfire.

Stacy didn’t think they were ugly when he was a Democrat. Like the ferry man in Josie Wales who could whistle two tunes Stacy could yell War Eagle as fervently as Roll Tide when he was younger.

    Texas A&M 29 – Alabama 24.

    It is called SCOREBOARD.

Wrong on the NSA scandal and wrong on A&M and Bama.

But then I am a former student of one of the most conservative schools in the nation and never had a dalliance with the democratic party.
